PostSubject: Joyner Trooper   Fri Feb 13, 2009 10:14 pm

I have heard that I have a Joyner Dealership possibly going in here in New Martinsville. Anyone own one or drove one???? I would like some input on these. I know they are kinda wide, but the engine and Manual Tranny seems interesting. After having 2 CVT ATVs, a standard seems to be less troublesome and (from what I have read) 30 MPG would be a heck of a lot better than 10-12.

I've looked at them on the net, not in person, very different ride, would love to wheel one, wheelbase seems long. I agree the manual could be a nice change.

I just read that they have a 3 year warranty. That sounds good. suspension looks alitte tight. Goin to look at them if they come. Heard that the out the door price for the trooper is around $9200. That's also cheaper than all the rest.

About 40 miles from here there is a dealer. Called him and he said there is nothing to compete with them. This is his second year and has no major problems. Has sold 17 units so far. Hope to get time to check them out sometime.

You're correct Bobby, I won't stray from Polaris. I've been very pleased so far and have no reason to change. I would like to check out the Joyner because of the 5 or 6 speed trannies and the 3cy.

I read about them a couple years ago. Looked like a lot of the more work/utility oriented machines to me. I'd be afraid of creek crossings, mud, and the like with them. Aftermarket parts would likely be slim pickens too.

Congrats, and GOOD LUCK, i hope you get great service out of it. The buggy style is definetly more stable than my S when trying to "back it in"! Bring that thing to Camp Creek, lets ride.
