you know it has 10 inches of ground clearance from the factory, but did you know that was empty. If you put 2 people that weighs 200 lbs each it would sink down at least 3 inches, that leaves you 7 inches. thats why you need a lift kit

of course the lower to the ground you are the safer you are, but I don't like hitting no rocks when I ride the creeks

The tires I have are stock tires. Thought about a lift kit but got afraid of them because heard so much about them binding and all. I thought maybe I could go with some tires for clearance....

you will be very happy with the roctec 3" lift kit, no binding at all. It has quick disconnects for the front sway bar, I leave mine disconnected for better trail riding.(ps, I can't believe I thought they were swamp lites, oh well I guess I need to lay off the bruskies.
