DOES A FILTER ON THE INTAKE HELP WITH THE NOISE? I THINK MOST OF THE NOISE IS FROM THE BELT SNORKEL. DOES THIS NOISE BOTHER YOU GUYS?

Do you have yours snorkeled? I don't beleive the filter will help with the noise. If I could do it over again I would not have snorkeled mine. The intake boot was the whole problem to begin with.

ya i did mine a few weeks ago. every time i washed under the bed i would end up spraying water into the belt intake. thats the main reason i did it. i havent had any dust issues. you never know how deep those water holes will be .

Mine is prefiltered and it doesn't cut down on the noise. It gets annoying sometimes. I use UNI filters.

I threw that #@&^%#(*^ piece of nothing stock air box as far as I could after I blew up my motor!! WE ran a 3in steel exhaust elbow and cut a hole in the bed, put on a big rubber clamp, and ran up with a 3in pipe that my pal reduced to 2 and 1/2in and put on a UNI. I can cross some serious water now!!!! He also built a tripod looking mount that bolts to the trans and then to a 3in mufflef that clamps onto the elbow and clamped it to the roll bar behind my head. It is a nice piece of work and sounds pretty neat whenever you stand on it!!! And befor you ask, I have no idea how to post pics.

I got a buddy here in KY that is making a pretty killer snorkel kit. If anyone is interested I can try to get a price. Send me a PM. I am not doing mine because I don't ride deep stuff too often and the snorkels come thru right by where the "between the seats" Polaris bag goes. The bag is too handy for me and don't want to be without it. His setup is killer though.
