PostSubject: Beer making   August 18th 2013, 2:31 pm

My wife got me one of those MrBeer kits about three years ago and I finally got around to trying it. Anyone else making their own?

I'll let you know. There are a lot of videos on YouTube about it. Probably like anything else. Depends how serious you are about it.

I think its neat. If your a very particular drinker I would think you could save alot of money and have a beer u want doing this. Sorta of what Yote says about it......depends on how serious you are about it.

I love beer(go figure).  A neighbor used to make very good craft beer, but he had a below grade (cool) incubation area.  And then he died.

Finz that was sounding real good until "and then he died".  I was getting happy reading that and then you killed my mood with the last sentence.

If he made his own beer and it was good, then at least we know he died a happy man.

That's Right  He was still making beer and wine into his early eighties.  Made some kind of peach liquor that'd knock your socks off.

Turned out pretty good. Ordered a new kit so I can always have one brewing. Pretty cool to watch your own being made. We also made about 20 quarts of apple pie moonshine. Now that was good. I'm about two steps away from a three step program though.dynwim
