| I was wondering from the guys that have a Wildcat X. How are they doing? Any belt issues or anything? Also did arctic cat put the better steering box in them or do they not turn either? Are they also having the electrical connection issues like the reg cats?
I am thinking about trying one to see how it does. I like the looks of it. |

| I have 350 miles on mine and no problems. Also I believe the 2014 X's come with the tighter steering knuckles and dual piston calipers like the 4 seater. From what I been hearing about the XP1000 the X may even outrun it and is smaller. A guy on the rzr forum said his new XP1000 measured almost 68 inches wide stock. So the X would narrower and may even out accelerate for cheaper. | |

| Well that would be awesome if they outrun Polaris. I have always liked the looks of the cat and I think it has the potential to run with the big two "Polaris and Can Am." Its nice to see another competitor. Alot of people on the X were talking about model 13 and a half and I was trying to figure out what the big deal is about that date and why they are making such a big deal about it. I didnt know if they added that stuff you said after mid 13 or not. |

| The 13 1/2 wildcat are the switch to dry clutch, fox shocks, and different sway bar.
The 14 use the 4 sweater steering so it turns sharper.

| Andy,
Is there any more changes to the 14's besides color, steering rack, and brakes? |

| $650.00 delivered. http://www.mlspowersports.com/ New front calipers, two steering knuckles, longer brake line, and some new bolts and crush washers for brake line. This mod makes the steering quicker and the turns sharper. Two days of driving this weekend convinced me this was a good decision. Hauling ass around a turn(rear end sliding) is much easier, tight spots are easier. Brakes will lock on any down hill at will. Couldn't do that before. Ain't lookin back.. Now for a snorkel kit. Don't like the intake for the air cleaner being down there next to the battery. I see mud in there.

| Just have to watch out for the axel nuts. They call for 250 pounds on the torque wrench and red lock tight. May possibly have to heat them up to get them off. My impact wrench just barely made it. If no red lock tight then stand by for your wheel to fall off. After that everything is normal. | |

From my understanding the all of the cats will be upgraded to the new steering ,brakes, one piece sway bar,and possibly either evans shocks or podium fox not sure on that one but have heard it mentioned, also it just may be the x getting the upgrades but I believe all will get the steering upgrade. |

| Sounds like a 2014 may be a better way to go. That or if u get a 2013, may be worth it for steering kit. |

I have a 2013 x and its a brute. If you have the urge for speed once in a while, I woud get the x if not I would get the 13 1/2 . I had a xp and sold it a couple of months ago, The x handles those black trails and can do serious rock crawling . On the really gnarly trails the x sure feels stable. I would have never tackled some the stuff on the xp that I have on the x. Love it. I have added the steering upgrade kit and it took care of the wide turning radius problem. It had the up graded steering box, but I had to add the knuckles and brake upgrade.
