| Gosh this machines shocks seem to be off to a rocky start. This is the second photo I have seen this week of the shocks bending on this machine. |

| No a good thing, but I'm sure there will be a fix. I would say someone was trying to repeat the RJ Anderson video. | |

| Damn one front and the other a rear . Looks like true issues of the angle of the dangle going on here. Even larger piston shaft won't be a true fix for this. | |

| I'm no engineer but this seems to be a case of the swingarm angle of motion and the shock angle of motion not matching. A big jump should compress the shock and make it leak. | |

Like someone said earlier, the angle of the dangle! It's like sitting on your testicles! |

| The problem has been acknowledge and they are working on it, all shocks have been covered under warranty, no matter how they did it.... it is a combination of shaft hardness and they think hydro locking (so I hear)... seems to only be happening on repeated hard jumps, seems the newer ones are coming out with slightly larger and harder shafts, also some re-valving (again what I have heard). Any bent shocks are being replaced with the upgraded shock, but so far, they will not replace all, even it they know there is a problem | |

go for it, you show me one make or model that does not have issues on first run... JUST ONE. They all have problems once they are put to real world riding and extended use. I got mine for the ride, and it has not disappointed me in the least and I have over 500 miles on it, the biggest disappointment for me is the tires, they can't use all the power. Shocks, not an issue, that has been resolved and mine has the new PN. If you want a Cat, Buy it, you want a Can AM, Buy it, you want a Yamaha, go get it.... but please, post any issues you have here so everyone can say.. " you should have bought a XYZ"

| Polaris engineers their SxS's half azzed. I don't really think they know what good quality is. Issues such as the 1000 shocks should not be a surprise. Polaris will do nothing unless under warranty and then will look for excuses. Lucky for Polaris Honda nor Yamaha has developed a real sport SxS. The day Honda steps up my Rzr XP will be gone.
I own a Rzr and enjoy it but realize it's got major fundamental issues. Lucky for Polaris it is really fun and rides well.
Own a Honda and you will understand quality. I rode 4000 miles on my Rincon and replaced only a rear seal and ball joint. That's it. Sold it for $200 less than I paid.
Last weekend 2 riders in our group had to cut their rides short due to Polaris ATV issues. One was pouring fuel from a fuel line rubbing a brake line. The other had electronic issues and would not rev. Both ATV's were 2011 or newer and stock with no mods. Ridiculous...
I swore off Can-am after issues with my 2010 Outlander Max Ltd 800R. I'm now thinking I might wanna try a Maverick.

| I don't want this to get out of hand, and I agree, when Honda steps into the market, that will be a game changer, both of my Honda 4 wheelers have been around since before they even put odometers on them so I could not tell you the 1000's of miles they have on them and one is now in need of some rear end work.. but even Honda will have first run issues. The First 4 Wheelers that honda made are 10x the machine they are today, it is all about the $$$ now, make it cheap, sell it high... The 1000 has many new parts that could not be tested real world, and YES, some have failed, but they have already acknowledged the issue and have changed the part.
I am by no means defending the build of polaris, I now it has issues... but it is what I ride, and will live with till I get something else in a few years.
