OFFICIAL VENT THREAD

I sent a PM to BobbyD and Tbone a few months ago about this and got the OK to post it, but I didn't... I think it is time now, don't have the old mail, but this is close to what it said.

EVERY MACHINE, MAKE AND MODEL HAS PROBLEMS.... SHOW ME ONE THAT DOESN'T, GET OVER IT, ACCEPT IT.... 

We are here to have fun, post rides and help each other... if you have a problem, "I" will do all I can to help you, not say "well you should have bought XYZ" than you wouldn't have had that problem... (in the background)"you would have had this problem".....

EVERYONE... GET OVER "YOUR MACHINE," POST THE PROBLEMS, POST THE FIXES, POST THE HELP...IF YOU HAVE THE PERFECT MACHINE, BUY STOCK, DON'T TELL ANYONE(you'll be rich)..... WELL, DON'T SEE ANYONE DOING THAT, HELP YOUR BUDDY, ... 

This site was not made to be a "mine is bigger than yours" competition, it is here for all to feel comfortable saying "I need help" and not feel they will be bashed for having a problem with their MACHINE, MAKE AND MODEL.... The pokes are great, TBone is a great target, but in the end, is there anyone that would not do everything they can to get him up and running (if he should have a problem) to keep him (or anyone else) riding?

To paraphrase, ENOUGH, If you have a Ranger, you are welcome, if you have a Rhino, lets ride, if you have a WildCat, lets go... RZR, TRex, CanAm or XYZ..... We are here to ride and assist, not to laugh and ridicule when you have a problem.

Sorry, but have had enough... I don't think I have ever laughed at, bashed or told anyone they should have bought ZYZ, if I have, I am sorry, I did not do it intentionally.

You want a Trex, buy it, Wildcat, buy it, RZR, Kymco, Sand Reeper, CanAm, Honda.... Buy it, buy what you want, if you want to complain, bash ridicule after you get it... there are many that will help, even if they don't (or have never) owned one.

OK, I have been up 45 hrs, so only 3 hrs sleep in last 2 days, nerves get a little short... 

THIS SITE IS FOR EVERYONE, NOT THE MAVERICK, TREX, RZR, RHINO OR WILDCAT.... CANAM, KAWASAKI. POLARIS, YAMAHA OR ARTIC CAT... OR ANY OTHER MAKE MODEL OR BRAND, they have their own sites for you to bash on.

If you want to buy brand XYZ, do it, If you are not sure about brand XYZ, ask... MOST here will give you an honest opinion.... just have to sort it out.

OK, finally, sorry to any I offend (probably the bashers) and any one I have helped (probably the lurker's)

OK, it is still early, 4 views and 5 online... I am one of them.... so everyone online has no comment... speak up people, this site is for EVERYONE not just the "mine is bigger" crowd... Everyone yell's SAND REAPPER, and we all jump on the band wagon,  don't want to get political, but I heard that Obama was the Savior... maybe we should make him Empror, ... SPEAK... Opinion is what makes better products, not "mine is bigger" Polaris 2015 release had no 800, an S model 900, a standard 900, a desert 1k, a Mud 1k (with snorkels) the buyer has to speak up.... on mfg forums... not here, but it does help... build it, and they will come... you have to make the MFG listen, that is not what this site is for...... it is for the rider, buyer, hopefull....... help everyone, promote yours, but don't bash others.... dmn, it is gettin late(er).. sry for the rant... but am I wrong??????

I don't think anyone on here jabs at someone to be mean....well accept when we jab at T-bone. He is easy and fun to pick on but we wouldn't and he wouldn't want it any other way.  They all have issues and my old RZR had them for sure but I rode the piss out of it.

I have been on here for almost 4 years now and for the most part everyone has done well to help each other out but yet pick at each other in a fun way. Some peoples skin is thicker than others. I love to pick and have fun but I have learned who I can pick with and who I can't.  I was told once that I needed to stop with all the jokes and picking on here...that no one wanted that kind of stuff on here, so I stayed away for almost a year...and I missed it.

Now...after talking to a couple of folks on here that I am close to, I was told to continue being me and not let one or two people keep me from having fun. They seem to think it was good for the sight. 

What I'm saying is...everyone is different and everyone thinks their machine to the best machine therefore that's the reason they bought it. Some people just express their opinions a little better than others.  ElmoEOD  don't get down brother...it's all good!  Just go out and have fun on the trails and on here like you always do. 

IT'S ALWAYS OPEN SEASON ON T-BONE...DO NOT LET UP ON HIM...GIVE HIM HELL EVERY DAY ACCEPT ON SUNDAY....HE NEEDS A DAY OFF TOO. 

I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO TAKE AWAY JIMBOB'S CAPLOCK!!!

As a relatively new member [will be 1 year in November], I can say you guys have all been very welcoming to me & I've greatly appreciated the help, advice & many laughs from reading the threads.  Like Timmi's rant about Jimbob's CAPSLOCK - that's hilarious! While I've not met up with anyone yet from this site to ride, my intentions are definitely to do so.  My job just keeps me tied to a desk a lot more than my Rzr would like!

All of that said, the pissing war Elmo is talking about is irritating.  In the Rzr world currently, all of the 900 XP owners are bashing the 900 S adopters because of the decrease in HP.  The 2015 1000 XP buyers are ripping on the 2014 buyers because they changed the clutch exhaust.  That 2014 XP1000 is now "junk".  The Rzr 800 50" owners are saying that the new Rzr 900 50" is a death trap.  The 900 S buyers are saying the 800 S is obsolete and as of July 27th they all dropped at least 5K in value.

Point is all of the above machines are good options.  I haven't noticed this nearly as much here, but I think it's good to have a thread to remind us why we're here!   

I agree with what you are saying but I guess you are seeing a side of the site I really don't see.  From time to time you will see something like that come up but it seems to be the exception and not the rule. 

One of the nice things about this forum is that we are a "riders" forum and not a "brand" forum.  There are several different brands of machines here and from what I have seen they are all welcome.

I have never really had an issue with the poking and jokes on this site! 
It takes all kinds and I think there is a good mix of people on here! Most would help you out no matter what they ride versus what you ride!
 I just think everyone voices their opinion and that's a good thing!
The common denominater is that we all enjoy outdoors and riding! So opinions from one to another are going to clash once in awhile, just as it does outside this site!
Just my thought on this thread!

Only thing wrong is Elmo needs sleep and Tbone needs to quit hating me for picking back at him.  Other than that, I don't see a problem here.  Maybe it's because I know all of the people who pick at eachother and find it funny not offensive.

I really don't see anyone not being welcoming or helpful to others on this site  .

We should all feel blessed we are able to work hard and enjoy this sport. I really do not care about brands anymore. I have owned a few machines and they all have had there pros and cons. 
The good thing about all of this is all of the brands have different machines. Each person has a different type of machine as they shop. The one that fits their needs is the winner in which they purchase. When people ask me what to get I simply tell them to look at them all and buy what they like. They are all so different that I simply cannot recommend what they should get. I dont know what they want out of a side by side. They will figure it out hunting the perfect one. I just tell them to make sure they see them all and drive them all.

I have always liked BRP but I do love a polaris and other brands as well. They all are awesome and I think we all need to feel blessed we can afford to do this. 

People here are awesome. I have so many friends here that I have met. There isnt a person here I wouldnt help if they needed it. Thats what is great about this place. Yes there are a couple bad apples but there are always a few in every batch. People give me pure hell but its in my job description. Its ok. I try to shoot back just to let them know ol T bone aint sleeping. Its all in good fun and I know the ones that pick on me care about me as well......well atleast I think they do. haha  

I am here because I love this sport and I love my dear friends here. I always look forward to seeing my friends here and always look forward to the sport. 
Were all lucky to be here. We work hard and we have purchased the machines that we like. With that being said, I do not really care on which brand they buy. I am just thankful that we are on the trail riding and that they are happy enjoying the sport. I think thats what this site is all about in its true roots. Nothing but a bunch of good people evjoying this sport together.

With that being said, lets ride!! Hope to see you guys soon.

Oh and I agree on the Jimbob Caps locks. Somebody fix that for him.  

If you want to see bashing, go to a Chevrolet or a Diesel Truck forum. I have never heard such BS and trashing in my life. And some of those guys on those sights are hell bent on thinking that they got the best in the world.

I would never bash anybody's ride, but if you don't own a RZR your ride sucks!!  

 I am too new here to have an opinion on much of anything rider/wheeler related.  Heck, I even traded two 4 wheelers for a brand name I really didn't like, but also recognized it was the best sxs for my style of riding.  So far the 800 RZR LE has exceeded in all of my expectations and is doing it with a very fair investment from me.  SO, I don't even know enough to throw anybody under the proverbial bus.

ALSO, I only know a few on here and have been treated more than fair.  SO, the throwing and the slinging that I have seen, I thought was just normal.  My first thought when I read the original post was "Don't hold back Elmo, if you have something you want to say just say it"...MD

There's another thread in here where someone found an article of a guy in wv on his knees bring walked on a leash. Made me think of Jimbob.

I'm coming up there one day to ride with u guys and to straighten up Jimbob. I'll also turn his caps lock off.
