| Has anyone bought that new go pro thats out now? If so how do you like it? I saw one the other day and it looks like a lot of improvements have been made. |

| If so that's the one I have. Family went together and got it for me as a Christmas gift this past year. I really don't use the remote that came with it though... if it's a decent day I use my phone and control the camera via Wifi. If it's dumping rain or something then it's easy just to reach up and push the button. Good video and pictures. My only gripe is the battery life. Mine is on for the whole ride but I only have it recording intermittently for 5 minutes or so at a time. I've just gotten in the habit of changing the battery whenever the ride breaks. The good thing is that extra aftermarket batteries are pretty cheap on Amazon.
I've heard a GoPro 4 is going to come out this Fall. But you know how that is. The next thing is always on the horizon. | |

| There's a new hero 4 just seen a pic on Facebook but haven't seen much about it. Looks like it has the video screen built into it. | |

| Scott has the Hero3+ Black. It does produce a great picture but battery life is only about 2 hours and it you need a 32 or 64GB SD card because of the high resolution of the video. We also buy the aftermarket batteries on Amazon and they work great. He doesn't use the remote because you have to have WiFI on for the remote and that uses up even more battery life. | |
