PostSubject: Annual Christmas from Matoaka   December 16th 2015, 2:52 pm

The annual Christmas ride with Muddy Mark is this Saturday the 19th. Plan to be ready at 8:30 in Matoaka.
Ride will probably be same places as last year but we're working on more stops. The first place has 4 kids; 2 girls age 6 and 17, and 2 boys age 13 and 15. We will also go to Eugene's age about 72 I think. All utv's or atv's welcome. You can bring food or gifts or just come and ride for the fun and fellowship. Usually about a 50-60 mile all day round trip. Note: This year a mandatory riders meeting will be held before we start! #1 rule-always wait on person behind you, every intersection or if they fall behind out of sight.
 OK! Lets Ride!

good one  Dang Timmi I would like to make this ride.  I showed the video from the past years to a lot of my friends and they just thought it is the coolest thing.  BUT, we have a part of our Family Christmas the 19th.  Maybe next year...MD

This is the additional info I received from Pete Peters who is helping out this year......

I hope everyone is well. I just received the information on the rest of the people on the Christmas run. The gentlemen helping me, Craig Hammond who works for the Rescue Mission, actually had a heart attack last week and it put him out of commission a couple of days. He was able to come up with 3 families in Matoaka.
1. The first families’ dad lost his job a short time ago. He and his wife have a 5 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. They live in Matoaka.
2. The second family has 3 boys ages 6,2 and 2 month and live in Matoaka.
3. The third family has a 12 year old boy, twin 4 year old girls and a 2 year old girl. (I think he said the twins were a relatives they were raising)I haven’t got the location yet but I am told they are in or very close to Matoaka.
Craig is to be calling me back with exact directions to the homes.
I hope this is all good information. There was some confusion as to who had what and ages, etc. These are in addition to the families we went by last year, the one couple with 2 teenage boys 13 and 16, and 2 girls ages 6 and 17 and Eugene, the older gentleman with the dogs and mule. I look forward to seeing you all Saturday morning. There will be people meeting at exit 140 at the park and ride lot at 6am. I will be at the Shell Station/Burger Boy in Rich Creek at 730. Peace.

God bless you folks for putting this on every year. I keep saying that I'm going next year and then something comes up but I really hope I can make it next year.  Merry Christmas!

Congrats  On a job well done.  It was my plan to be there also, but our Family here at home decided to do a part of the family Christmas on the same day.  I will show this video to a lot of my local friends so they can see the "other side of the coin" of what we as rider do.

Thanks again for mission accomplished...MD
