PostSubject: New Ride coming   February 11th 2016, 2:34 am

Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered me a new ride this morning. After talking to the dealers and James and few more people I went with the 2016 Teryx 2 seater of course Camo. The features on the 16 model over the 15 sold me for the newer model. The different hood had me second guessing for several reasons like easier to clean with the flip up hood,16 has the center panel come off like RZR. The 16 have upgraded the clutch and belt system, flip up steering wheel which my fat ass needed, also upgraded the fox shocks with different valving. All plus that I was planning on doing to the 15 model. Only draw back is gonna be end of month before they can get one in from the factory, being nobody will trade off their 16 models in stock and camo not being in great demand right now either.

Congrats Keeter

I will add after owning a new Terex 800 and driving James Wolverine a good bit I would buy the Wolverine over the Teryx for anyone else looking to buy.Wolverine a lot less engine noise when you get in the and g.It also rides better I do like the 3 year warranty and dry storage on the Teryx.

Yea Bobby the wolverine is a great bike I thought long and hard about them too. I had to go with the Teryx for a couple of my reason for my use for hunting as well as playing. One big factor was a tilt steering wheel for my big ass getting in and out, storage and all the upgrades on the 16. The motor noise is a big concern and ride comfort but they revalved the shocks so that swayed me back to the T2.Hell I even had thoughts of getting the Wolvie and buying the tilt steering off a RZR or T2 to help me because I also really liked the YAMAHA quality I had with my Grizz. Time will tell but all I can do is hope this one fits me as good as I hope.

Two of the best quality machines for the dollar available right now. For the reasons you list, Keeter, I agree the Teryx works best for you. If the Honda Pioneer offered a bucket seat model with resi shocks I would include it as well.

Yea I looked at the 500 pioneer several times and for hunting I almost pulled the trigger. The paddle shifter would have been fun and he metal rack would have worked well also. The width and height were the main reason I looked as well using it in the woods hunting.

All machines should come with a tilt wheel and full doors glad to see tilt wheel on the Teryx now.I got an online survey from Kawasaki when I had my Teryx and told them my dislikes about the machine so I'm sure others did too.Sounds like they are addressing some of the issues but that engine noise is ridiculous lol! If they haven't quieting it down on the 2016 models I'm sure they will eventually.

I don't miss the tilt wheel, I never used it on my rzr, but I agree it should be standard. The Wolverine needs taller doors with an inside handle.

Phil were you able to find a flip out windshield for your yet. I'm trying to find one instead of the solid windshield. The one for the 15 looks great but cant find one yet for the 16s due to cowl change.

Congrats   Keeter on the new ride purchase.  I have been talking and texting with you so much about it, I just haven't logged on to here in a few days.  Good choice of machine and there will never be the perfect one.  For your needs and riding style, the T2 will probably exceed in expectations, especially in the dry storage and your butt won't be getting wet while crossing the creeks when you have to cross.

You know what I have and had.  I have never looked back and enjoy my 2015 Black T2 more each time I ride it.  AND the next time will be this coming weekend to the Bramwell area...MD

Yea Timmi I saw that one and it won't work. I'm not interested in a hinged version due to hinge, site of vision issues and need it to flip out in the center area to work with enclosure fastening to it. I will have to wait till May more than likely to get what I need from Koplin.

Phil how are you liking the fox shocks on the 16 verus the ones on your older model? Do you think the clutch is any different or the interior motor noise any quieter.
