 Heat shield

For anyone that has applied heat shield to your maverick, did u remove the foam pieces on the underside of the panels or did u put it right over top?

When I had my maverick, I removed it then put the heat stuff on

I just cut around it. Either way would be fine.  You will like the difference in the cab heat.

Yea, I'm sure its gonna help,I took a little ride this evening but not long enough to tell much about the heat issue but it was quieter

It was the reflective heat tape I found at an auto parts store. I think you can get a better deal on a bigger roll at lowes though. if I'm not mistaken.

It was some stuff I ordered off ebay.
Can't remember the name right off but it was heat shield + sound dampener.
Tried it out today n its doing a pretty good job
