| That's good, has there been any other talk about Burning Rock becoming part of the H/M system | |

| Bobby;
Burning Rock is under a new ownership/mgt., CCC as opposed to the Raleigh Co. Commission. I haven't heard anything about connecting to the HM system yet. They are supposed to have some things in the works such as additional trails and the construction of a "zip line". They are going to try and make it more family oriented. They have a nice camp ground and have built some cabins. The prices on the permits are the same as last year. All in all it is a pretty nice trail system.

| Yea I bought 3 permits in 2008 and went one time I just think the permit fee is to high for the amount of trails they have when I can buy a H/M permit and have access to more trails.I'm not bashing the place I liked what I got to ride and they have nice facilities but WUWU20 was talking that the rumor was that H/M was going to end up with it and make it a part of their system | |

| I dont understand why their permits are so high when HM offer so much more. If they were half the price I might consider going there.
Wonder how many permits they sell a year?

| Went there twice last year with a group from Carolina Polaris (freebie). Their facilities are tops & trails are great but you can ride out everything they got in a short day. I still highly prefer the wide open cross country type stuff we have in W/W area. | |

| I'll just post here instead of starting a new thread. An annual pass for out of state is now $100. They just lost my business. | |

| I went up there for a benefit ride on Jan 1st and the out of state was only $50. I believe I was told that passengers in a SXS were $5 a day but didn't need a full blown pass but I might not be remembering that right. I am old and sometimes just make stuff up! |

| Hump and James want me to come up and ride there some. I'm gonna go soon. I want to say there's a smaller fee for a day ride. I could swear James told me but I forget now. I could be wrong. Either way I want to try it out. I want to see the burning rock out there |
