Rzrs, Check your throttle free play

Friends,

Just in case folks don't read rzrforums.net or know that their throttle free play may be jacked, there is the following thread on rzrforums.net about checking throttle free play. Many have found theirs way out of whack. I did as well, mine was 1 inch out of adjustment!!! I estimate that I was only getting 2/3 to 3/4 full throttle! I never realized how bad it was, and now that I brought it in, she is like a whole new machine! It was like finding new power I didn't know I had! Give it a whirl, its easy and takes 5 minutes. The procedure, if needed, is in your owners manual.

This is also a sign of throttle cable wear ( after several adjustment I suggest you replace the cable ) . Caution getting it too tight your throttle will hang open partly, this happend to me on the ranger and it is not a good feeling .....

when I chhecked mine she was full blast. No play at all. I am sure its coming at some point though.
