| Can anyone help me with some sort of directions to a trailhead? We are hoping to go ride this sunday if the weather isnt too miserable. I've searched all over the place and can't seem to get any idea of where it is. | |

| I have never been to 5 points but I know it is in Wallace WV. It is really not all that far from you. I would Google Wallace WV and find the best route for you to go.Just did the Google and it shows 82 miles, 1 hr and 25 min. That is Wallace, Harrison CO. | |

| barsav, 5 points is at wallace, about 20 miles north of Claksburg on route 20. Don't go this sunday, the land is owned by a hunting club and riding is off limits during hunting season. Here in WV Sunday hunting is allowed on a county by county area, 5 points is in Wetzel (or part of it anyway) and Wetzel does have Sunday hunting. It would be best to wait to come over after the first of the year. | |

| don't let the hunting issue stop you Barsav. There are only about 1000 acres that are part of the hunting clubs land and Sunday hunting is illegal this Sunday anyway. The Sunday that preceeds the first day of doe season is a non hunting day even in the counties that still have Sunday hunting. I think I may know 5 points and the trails around it about as well as anyone and I will tell you it is immense!!! Alot of guys only consider the trails that are in a very close proximity to 5 points itself as being 5 points trails. It's like saying if you ride from the Wagon Wheel to welch you are no longer riding the Wagon Wheel. I would suggest you go to 5 points, unload and ride. If there is a trail and it doesn't say keep out, then ride and explore. I could take you and show you an easy 1000 plus miles of trails and still have many more to show you. This pretty much encompasses 5 counties, Harrison, Doddridge, Marion, Tyler and Wetzel. If you look on Google earth find New Martinsville, Hundred, Mannington, Lumberport, Sardis, Centerpoint, and Middlebourne. These towns pretty much form a circle and you can ride to all of them from 5 points and hit very little blacktop. I hope this helps!!! Sorry I wrote a book though, LOL!!! | |

| I'm going riding tommorrow in fact. My dad just bought a new RZR-S and he needs to break it in a bit. We have been waiting on a day when it's above 30. I'll keep an eye on the weather and if it looks like we can get a decent day to ride i'll contact you. I don't mind riding in the winter but if it's below 30 i'm riding the couch. | |
