Heck you need that extra height if you get a rzr with a lift!

The rzrs are taller than u think! It caught me one time trying to use an enclosed trailer. The RZR didnt fit!

Does your ranger go in there?

I have an 80" high opening. The Ranger has 3-4 inches to spare. I got tired of buying new trailers everytime I upgrade. Should have this one for a while.

Tbone, don't get a 4.6 for what you are trying to do. I had a 99 reg cab 5 speed, and it done ok with a 12' trailer and a couple quads. By ok I mean I could run 4th gear on flat ground, up hills it would keep the speed limmit in 3rd with it on the floor the whole time. A 4.6 auto is a real dog! Get one with a 5.4 and it will do the job. There is no comparison between the two when it comes to towing.

I have the 4.6 in my 09 F150 work truck....it is a dog, do not buy it!! My Ridgeline towed better!!

I figured with one rzr on an open trailer and thats it would be ok.

I was told the 4.6's are very reliable but def. not the strongest.

My dads does not pull a empty 6 x 12 very good! Its just a dog. We are trying to help you out dude! Pass on a 4.6!

Well this company is offering a 4.6 truck and its really nice and clean. It would make a good work truck for the company to use with a lift gate. I was just thinking if I wanted to town the rzr in a small open trailer, would it do it. Driving it on the test drive it seemed like it would be ok. On the mountain it may slow down but around here it seems like it would do ok. Wouldnt it?

hey now I will just tow with my F350. I can run 100 up fancy gap. On a run to Busco where it is flat I may use this thing if nobody is using it in the company.

The 4.6 may not be a powerhouse but it will tow a Rzr on a small trailer fine. If you remember the old Ford 300 straight 6 or Chevy 305 it will be as powerful as those. Heck -- it will be more powerful than the Chevy 4.3L V6's. It will get you to the trails just not as fast as most of us want. In reality you will arrive at the same time as everyone else -- the only difference is you will hold the throttle to the floor occassionally.

The problem is that most of us want more. If we don't get the biggest engine it just ain't enough. Even then many of the people onthis forum still want much more.

yea I had a chevy 305 in a camaro. It was not the fastest but I got over 200,000 miles out of it before i sold it

If it isn't costing you anything....take it...that is what I did. I just wouldnt buy one!
