Here is a quick video on how they are getting the power out of the 1000 Rotax motor....

12:1 is alot of squeeze. Throw in a muddy radiator and we will have a really hot ham. They talk about lower belt temps....lower than what, the 1st maverick they tested that got really hot from that exhaust pipe running right under the belt cover. I don't like that. Looks like a fire or smoked belt waiting to happen. I wonder if you have to run 93 in it with that much compression?
Should really fly though.

Well, maybe they could use the top secret "Finz Forced Draft Clutch Cooler" on their new machine. Too bad it's so Puckin Fugly.

I doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it works. If I ever had another rzr, I would want you to have a hand in it. That exhaust pipe on the maverick spewing out 12:1 spent gasses down under the belt and on top of the skid plate where all those dry leaves like to hang out, just says fire to me. You would think they would have at least ran that pipe down the opposite side of the belt, or maybe up higher with a really good heat shield.
I'm no engineer, just a dumb ass hillbilly from WV. What do I know.
