| Prayers go out from me to the families of this horrible incident.
I just don't understand why someone would do such an awful thing. This breaks my heart. |

| And it's all the guns fault... They are already looking at gun laws there as if stricter gun laws would have prevented it. No gun zone is how these idiots get to carry out what they want to do. He tried to buy a rifle and was denied, plus you can't have a gun in schools. So, there is no gun law in the world gonna prevent something like this. The left wing idiots don't see it that way though.
All of this dumb shit started happening when people quit busting their kids asses for doing wrong. Now they grow up spoiled, and when they don't get their way, they turn into weirdos and do stupid things.

| Amen Hump. God Bless Victoria Soto who hid her kids in closet and n cabinets. When shooter came to her class she said the kids were n the gym. He shot her and then moved on. From what I heard the school has locked doors and did not let him in so he shot his self n. not sure about how true that is but the Victoria deal was real.

| Can't wait to hear what the shooters neighbors and family have to say. How can any person that could do this kind of an act hide in society? Didn't anyone suspect that this guy was a social deviate? Was anyone concerned enough to say/do something? In my Grandpa's time, the community would try to correct/eliminate the situation (aka the Klan).
I hope the news media does not hint of a physchological reason for the tragedy other than wicked, despicable cowardous. Raise a gallows, hang the f----- by his heels and disembowel him. Then nail a target to his head . Damn, I'm mad.

| The news media ride these stories for days on end, then remind everyone about it at least once a month. These idiots get ideas in their heads about what to do from watching this on the news every day.
Stronger gun laws for us can't help this. The laws we have in place now helped this freak carry out his plan. If an adult in that school would have been packing it may have been game over for that shit head a little early.
There is nothing that can stop these things from happening. The only thing that will help is to have a way to fight back.

There is nothing that can stop these things from happening. The only thing that will help is to have a way to fight back. I'm not so sure. We've become a society not wiling to make uncomfortable decisions. Instead of isolating deviate behavior (and dealing with it) we ignore it or nurture it through therapy. We fail to discipline our kids and expect teachers to take care of it. We fund the upkeep of generations of the same family rather than demand they work. We pass laws to make deviate sexual behavior legal with all the benefits of a tradition family. We release felons from prisons that are too crowded(What? It's prison for God's sake). We financilly support the health, education and welfare of illegal immigrants because those citizens that are unemployed(or, otherwise unemployable) won't do manual labor. We forgive $100,00 student loans because it took students 5yr. + to get a BA in Basket Weaving and now can't repay their debt. We elect a President whose support from one nor another class of entitlement recipients Damn, I'm getting mad again.

| Gun laws don't stop people like this. If they don't have guns they use knives like the scum bag in china that cut kids in a school. Like finz said somebody had to see this comming. We all prolly need to get more involved and push punishment for crimes!!! | |

I'm not saying he didn't have all of that, but I wouldn't believe it unless I was there and seen it with my own eyes. He shot his mom with a .22. He used guns she had. I don't know many Moms with a full arsenal of weapons using high cap. magazines. They are doing everything they can to push a gun ban. If he had several 30+ round handgun mags, why would he shoot her with a .22?

What do you do about it? Recognize the symptoms and demand the segregation of potentially dangerous individuals. Say something and keep saying it. Mom provided the tools for his diabolical act and paid for it.

| you know I was thinking about this today......
Why doesnt the govt just mandate all schools have doors that are heavily armored where a gun could not open it, self closing, and self locking. All doors. A true lockdown mode.
At all entrances there is a primary set of doors then after 10 feet a set of secondary doors. Two sets of doors to try to contain the assailant. All rooms have a keypad inside only where you can put in a code to override and open the door and/or just put in an emergency override for the door to open?
All windows fortified. Cameras everywhere.
A panic button in multiple points, places, and all rooms. All tied in with a 911 distress sent out. You push that button that place locks down solid.
Why dont they just do that? |
