| Hi I'm Josh from Bridgewater, Va. Been lurking in the background for a while decided to step in to introduce myself. Also need some advice on a UTV purchase. Looking to buy a four seater to ride mostly hattfield mccoy trails. Looking at polaris rzr4 and the teryx4. Seems as though alot of forum members ride these type of trails and could help me decide. Rzr4 just seems like it would be to long for the tight trails. Any comments would be appriciated. Thanks.. | |

| Welcome to the site. Both are great machines. As far as being too long you will find that they are actually not that bad and length wont be an issue. I would buy the xp4 but both are great machines.
Be sure to look at both though and buy what you like. Length really isnt an issue. |

| I like the teryx 4 for the shorter wheelbase and the factory doors. The longer 4 seaters will go just about anywhere with the right amount of throttle and good skidplates. I work in your area. If you see a blue Tacoma with a wvsxsriders license plate on the front, that would be me. Small world ain't it? | |

| I love everything about my T4, especially the dependability! About the only thing you would need to add after market to the T4 is a $150 2" lift kit and a decent set of tires. After that, you shouldn't even need skid plates. Tons more room in the T4 for the family and seats are much more comfy as well. Not to mention the bang for the buck is so much better. If you shop around you can pick up a 12 for around $10-11k. | |

| Welcome My buddy bought a rzr4 and it does great. I looked at couple different ones was going tobuy a ranger crew but decided to buy a regular ranger and put a cage in the bed and save some money to buy other item's for the ranger. But the best advice is to buy what you like, just like some of the other's have posted. | |

| T4 is a great value for all you get with it. Big G led a pack of us all over the trails with his. As the man says all you might want to add is a 2" lift and some better tires. | |

| Being a short little fat skinny fella like myself I have ridden in the back seat of a T4 of Big G's on several occasions and found the ride and room very nice, more than I thought it would be. More leg room than the RZR 4 but that might be just me and the wheelbase is shorter and the bed dumps so there are some different features to look at also. Just some things I notice and far as power on the trails the T4 is just as fast and maybe more nimble than the RZR4 but on the open roads I believe the RZR would spank the T4. Welcome to the site!!!!! | |

| Rzr 4 would definitely spank it on a long open road. The bed does Not dump which is one thing that I miss. But I still have a ranger around the house to use for working. Its all in what fits ur needs the best. I couldn't be happier with the T4 for my family. | |
