Anybody stayed at the Elkhorn Inn in Landgraff? If so, how convenient is it to Hatfield/McCoy trails?

i've never stayed there but i go right by it when I'm headed to ashland to meet up with everybody

Never stayed there but have been by it I would stay somewhere else that is closer to the trails.I found this trail about 6 years ago that was real tight for a ATV which was what I was riding that day and it came out in Landgraff.You can always run down the hard road to Northfork which is close and jump on the H/M trail up the road.

Let me try another angle. Anybody know anything about Trails Lodging in Pineville? They say they are newly renovated, etc. and are near the trailhead of Pinnacle Creek.

I have never stayed in Pineville it's just further to drive and see no need for it for me.If you are wanting to ride the H/M trails Pinnacle Creek,Indian Ridge & Pocahontas I think it's best to stay around the Ashland area which is in the middle so you don't have so far to go back in either direction at the end of the day.

I appreciate your two cents worth! I'm new to ATVs and have never been to the H/M Trails, so any advice is good so far as I'm concerned. We're looking to come up the first week in April. Ashland Resort is booked solid.

You have many places close to Ashland Resort to stay

3.Hillbilly House in Crumpler
4.Black Dog Ranch
5.Skyland
6.Mountain Top Cabins

The ones Bobby has listed above will put you in the center of things and allow access to three trails w/o trailering your atvs. Also access to the outlaw trails.

Made a cabin reservation at Wild Willy's today.

I have plenty of info, maps, etc. for Hatfield-McCoy Trails. Where can I find info, maps for outlaw trails?
