| Yeah I am thinking of getting a wildcat and since they all come with dry clutches now I will probably get an X. Just try to see if anyone with an X has had lots of blown belts. I have heard they are having some issues out west with them. Just need some feedback.
Thanks | |

| mine has 315 miles on it. No problems yet. Just break it in slow the first day you ride. But I'll warn you its gonna be hard to stay off that throttle. BRRRRAAAAAPPPPPP:yahoo: | |

| I have heard of them having issues but I have heard of all high hp machines having issues if you don't break the belt in well. If you take it easy for the first 30 to 50 miles then you probably won't have any issues. I think it's weird that those tough belts have to break in but it seems its true. |

| May be the same deal as on a Polaris...People don't understand how they work, and don't know when it's best to go to low range. Don't try to rock crawl, hill climb, or hit the deep mud in high, and I bet they will be ok. I had a spare belt for my rzr s when I was ready to sell it. Tore it down and the factory one with 2400 miles was in very near new condition. I'm sure people got agrivated when they had to stop behind me and wait on me to change gears on every steep hill, but that really prolongs the life of the belts on a machine that doesn't have a wet clutch. | |

| I think those guys out in the dunes launch their machines so much jumping the sand dunes when they land they blow a bunch of belts that way too and I'm sure the higher temps they ride in don't help either You will love the suspension and comfort of the Wildcat | |

| I agree with Bobby, those things are hell on a belt. Also, they say running through sand is like deep snow, so that belt has got a hard pull on it most of the time. I bet sand even gets in there and helps eat away at the belts too.
If Bobby ain't having belt issues, you can bet it will be ok because he is a riding fool. | |
