| I talked to world class today. The deal on these are the dealers are only getting 2. They can request more after the 2 are sold but no promise's.They are going to treat this machine as a limited edition just like the Jagged X 4 seater last year. Supply is going to be death tight.
I guess we will find out. Should start to see them show up at dealers towards the end of the month to the first of Sept. When one comes in I am going to drop by and take a close look at it.
I want to see its suspension and see if its going to be as smooth of a ride as the Maverick. Its going to take a lot to get the best ride like the Maverick. |

| If the maverick is the best ride, why are so many people on here buying wildcats? Is it the price? | |

Price point. The cat does have a good ride though. Way better ride than the XP, Commander, and Rhino. The top two right now as far as ride goes is the cat and mav. I could of bought a cat and saved 4 grand at the time of my purchase. Cat couldnt turn as well. Always pushing real bad and didnt ride as well as the maverick. |

| after reading about this new 1000 its going to be a more improved ride than the 900 xp. How much is the question. I read somewhere its a night and day difference between the 900. Rides a ton better. To be honest I would hope it would ride better after shelling out 20 grand for it. |

| XP900 has a better power to weight ratio but not as much travel i think the XP900s might get a lot cheaper this fall... | |

| Yea I am seeing some prices fall on the 900's. Those are great machines though. I think the 1000 market is going to be REAL tight and polaris is going to keep it that way. |

| I agree with that. It ought to ride like a Lexus and ride better than the best ride of the maverick. |

Base Maverick is low $13k range and X is mid $14k range. Base Wildcat is mid $14k range, so it sure isn't the price. Not sure why no one isn't buying the Maverick cause it is the best deal out there. Remember only one member on here says it has the best ride. Take it for what it's worth!

The 2 seater 2014 Can-Am Maverick rs DPS 1000R is $18,899, so for another $1k you get the XP1K. I dont think a lot of people realize this price on the top of the line Maverick.

I personally don't like sitting up that high in a machine after putting over 12K miles on my RZR's and sitting down in them.I just did not like the feel of the Maverick feels top heavy to me and the wheel base is short so it feels like it bucks when I drove Van P's but they got the power and a good ride but I think you get more bang for the buck with a Wildcat since they all come with power steering & have a least a partial door and true 4x4.I love the way you sit down in the Wildcat like a Corvette.

At the time there was a good price difference between a maverick XRS and a regular wildcat. Brp stuu just got discounted last month.I have not claimed its the best just FYI. Best award in my opinion goes to yamaha. Maybe you need to get up to world class, fix the rusted upmseized brakes and your wore out parts on your RZR so you can ride.

Here are the Performance East pricing today. 13,659 base maverick 14,949 is XRS Maverick today.New wildcat is 13,500. They have not put the sale price on wildcat on the site. He does have wildcat x for 14,600. Thats not a bad deal. |

I only buy there and at the time that was the pricing difference. I don't have time to call up every dealer in America and chase a dime. |

Yes. I will agree with Bobby d on the value as well. You canget all of that for that price. BRP missed the boat not putting their power steering on the XRS. Atleast with Wildcat you get it. To get a wildcat x for that price is a pretty good deal. It will just need some tires. The stockers with a wildcat are junk and im sure all the wildcat owners will agree to that atleast without having a menstrual cycle. |

| I certainly am not trashing the mav, I was looking at commanders for awhile. I just really like the wildcat x in the blue and white, and with what you get for the money, it will suit me fine. They come with bighorn 2.0's, they should last until I could decide on which tire to run. | |
