| Billy, I suck at making stereo enclosures. I know nothing about it. My last one was just a toolbox bottom from wal fart chopped up. This one is just 3 pieces of sheetmetal because I didn't care to weld to the cage and had it laying around. Rick S has a nice fiberglass unit he made that I really like. I have no idea where to even start on something like that. What ever you decide to do, mount it high so it's nice and loud. I'm still running the Polyplaner boat setup that Bobby had, Tbone, and some others still have. It's complete without the enclosure, switch, and MP3 player. I did ditch the 5 1/4" speakers for some nice Polk DB 6 1/2s. What a difference that made! It does pretty good now. I could have done better on my cage when it comes to looks, but I don't have much time to do anything anymore, so I didn't do a real good job grinding down welds that I wanted to hide. Thanks for the nice comments all of you. | |
