Hey T-Bone, I finally found a fast, diesel powered Ford

I figured some of the other motor heads on here would appreciate this as much as I did. Local go fast diesel shop held their annual truck drag event yesterday with an old OBS Ford taking the win in the modified class. This was by far one of the fastest street trucks I've ever seen. 7.3 Powerstroke, (IDI) diesel with a single s468 charger and two huge shots of NOS. Owner claimed 1/4 mile times of 12.80's on fuel only and 10.60's on the bottle. I saw it beat several low 11 second trucks yesterday so I tend to believe him, thing would haul ass for sure! He was covering the 300ft dirt track in 4.7 seconds and hit 79mph at the end, both track records!

Not surprised. These engines are tuned way down from their potential.
