My maps on Free Android APP - OruxMaps

There is a free Android App called OruxMaps that my map works great on.  This App has been around for a while and what makes it unique is that it is the only App that you can load Garmin maps on.  I have had it for a few years and just recently figured out to make my maps look great on it.  They show all the dashed lines as well as the solid lines.  It also has a pure white background.
Below is my opinion of BCN vs. Orux
BCN (BackCountry Navigator)

1. Has better looking waypoint icons.
   
2. Does not show dashed lines and some colors do not match original map exactly.
   
3. Can show my maps on top of back ground maps.
   
4. Does not have any Google or Bing maps
   

OruxMaps

1. Has better looking track lines.
   
2. Has pure white background for my map.
   
3. Cannot show my map on top of another map.
   
4. Can import my gpx tracks and show them on top of a background map.
   
5. Has all the Google and Bing maps.
   

Since Orux is free it does hurt to try it and see if you like it.

The download at the link below as the links to get OruxMaps and my map files along with instruction on how to install my maps.  It also includes a .xml file that you need to copy to your device.  This file is what gives you access to Google and Bing maps.

When downloading ignore the "AdFly" add and click "Skip".  This is the only site that that stupid add pops up on.  I hope someone is getting money for it.

i downloaded the files to my laptop then emailed the wv map file to my email.. opened it om ,y phone and downloaded it.....
went into my docs on phone and moved the file to the oruxmaps app

I take it that ur not using an iphone? Wonder if it will work on my iPhone

Will not work on I-Phone.  I-phone people use an app called MotionX, but none of the maps I mention on here will work with it.
