| Talked to a yamaha rep this past weekend. He said there is a new sport model coming and it will have 2 hp ranges. A low horse power range on one of them and the other will be of course the high hp one. He did say the top hp one will be 120hp. Release will be this summer late and be on the showroom floors this fall. He would not comment on what motor they are going to use. All he would say is its a sport model and they are releasing these new machines in order from slowest to fastest. You heard it first here on the WVSXSRIDERS.COM |

| I have also heard this, and was told this one would be called Banshee. Looks like they are using old atv name. | |

You heard it first here on the WVSXSRIDERS.COM so this will be the third release with two faster ones yet to come? if that is true, that fifth one should be a screamer.

| No this will be the third and final release. Another reason they held out is they want to make it reliable. They know if they roll it out and it breaks a lot, then it will hurt their name. They want to make 100% sure she will be reliable. I can understand that. He did say its been ready for 2 years. Just been testing. |

| Yamaha 5 year plan
Yamaha has relocated their UTV assembly to the United States giving them even more control over design and development! Yamaha has made it clear, their master plan is to introduce a new UTV every year for the next 5 years!

| I'll also check my Yamaha sources and see if I can get anything on this. The last release was almost word for word what was predicted. MY needs won't include the 120 HP, but it will be great to see Yamaha back in the running again. Great post, thanks for sharing...MD | |

I asked him about the name of it and he could not confirm that. Wouldnt be bad name I guess. Time will tell. It would just be neat to see yamaha flex some muscle that they so have. They could do it if they wanted to. Looks like they are. |

Glad you like them! James makes everything quality to last. If he wouldn't use it himself, he won't make it for someone else.

| I hope this is it. The machine that we all know Yamaha is capable of putting out there that will contend with the other high hp machines. They did a great job with the Wolverine. It seems to be a heck of a trail/utility machine. It would take a lot for me to change from the machine that I am in now but if they build the right machine I would try one for sure. | |

| I have watched that video several times and if the message is the short segment of power shown backward aimed, it sure does sound like a real powerful engine. BUT, sound can be deceiving. Then again, it is prime time to enter the market with a real winner. Who knows...MD | |

| the paddle shift would be the game changer. there's a whole lot more to a machine than hp. the drive train has to utilize the hp so suspension will be a factor also | |
