| Go ahead and get the hardwire kit for 19.79 from amazon. After about two trips the cigarette lighter adaptor that came with the GPS would lose connection and I would not know it until the battery was down on the unit. Now I just plug into the wire and my 12 volt outlet is still available | |

 Bubba, Have you got to use the 500 much, and if so how do you like it. I am going to update as my legend is getting old and I would like a bigger screen. Eyes just dont work like the use to. Any input would be great. Thanks Steve | |
