| Has anyone used one? Thoughts?
I ordered one thru an accomodation program as its 50% off, thought it would be a good addition as the one I used last year wasn't water proof.
Let me know.. | |

| Good little video cam, Son had it on during a MX race and crashed. Held up great, as he landed on it. (the boy was ok also). Owner’s manual has a little bit to be desired and the sound pickup could be better. But it does take great video for the price. | |

Updated the firmware, put on the back, loaded it in the new waterproof case and its AWESOME! Can't wait to take it on the trails!
If you get the GO PRO.. order the LCD back! http://gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/lcd-bacpac/

| HD video is nice if your going to just watch on your computer. but if you plan to upload to youtube hd takes hrs to process and upload where the same video in standard def will only take 30 min to an hr. what i do with the Sanyo HD i have is record in HD but when i edit the video with windows movie make i change the video back to SD. works great for me. |

I can't get my movie maker to work with it ... it keeps saying the "codec" is wrong, even though I have downloaded what I thought was the new 1 off the website. It's prolly just us though lol ... if you get 1 & figure it out maybe you can help us!!!

You need Windows 7, or Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker?os=other

| Ok.. the Go Pro works GREAT.. Tbone, I bought the Motorsports Hero Version since it came with more stuff.. I used a Roll bar mount mounted to the windshield. Editing, and uploading are a snap.. I just got in from doing a test run, I will edit video and upload so you can see. | |

Tbone, it is all done in movie maker or any other type of video editing software. Your new camera should have came with something also. Check out this youtube video to see movie maker tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9rRh7z5TCs&feature=related

We have the GoPro 960, got it for around $130 shipped. I love this camera!! Like Bush said, HD is too big but the 960 does both if you need it. Here is video of it on my son's helmet. https://wvsxsriders.forumotion.com/t4460-sunday-ride

| Tbone, here is a quick video I put together from this afternoons test ride. It took 10 minutes to make, 5 minutes to upload, and its 720p hi def.
(Excuse my Garage, those boxes are left over from the updates to the Rzr, and my HT system at home.. garbage doesn't come until wednesday)
As Steve said above, you can record HD, or STANDARD.. up to you!

I made my own. When you get a gopro, it comes on a square piece and clicks into it. I cut it to make it smaller and used 2 conduit hangers. It works great! Rode HM trails today with it and no problems. I will take a pic and post it tomorrow.

| Ok well I got my GO Pro Hero today and I am shocked. I thought it came with an SD card. It doesnt. So what kind of card do I need an how much storage is the max on it? Also what is the best setting to record on. Sounds like 1080 takes a long time to upload. Which option do you select to record with? |
