Adding Tunes to the RZR

Nice, never seen one of those before. I use my I phone for a lot more than music, phone, camera/video, maps, directions, trail notes, gps etc... so having access to it is important to me, this would take more time to get access.


I just built a stereo with a Poly Planar kit and it is loud. I like the Cooter Brown Enclosure but just to much $$$ for me for a radio in my sxs. I will have $150.00 in mine, and that includes the Otterbox case I use on my phone everyday.

I agree with Hoojs12840, that having access to my Ipod is important. I got a Dunertunes Kicker setup and it rocks, however it cost over $400.00. My Ipod has an FM tuner on it and I almost never listen to the radio, unless there is a football game or something on, I wanna listen to commercial free music. I've never seen this system before but I hope you like it.

Just found out the Stereo can use a flash drive... the internal bay has a USB connector.. so I don't have to have my Ipod inside the unit.. I bought a $25 16Gb flash drive... and will leave it in the deck with all my music, no need to open it up or pull anything out anymore.

I had the deck installed in the enclosure today, and even put in an amplified antenna in the box so if I wanted AM/FM I can do it. I also added a switch to the front of the enclosure to turn the power off, so when the rzr is sitting the clock won't wear down the battery.

This weekend I will install the enclosure, and update with picts!

Got a great deal on a Rockford Fosgate stereo from Sonic Electronix online. Plan to install it in a Cooter Brown enclosure.

ok, here is a picture of it mounted. Seems to work perfect. I added a switch on the front to completely cut power for storage, and sealed the top with caulk. I even added a stickon push on/off led light for night riding.
