| what kind of riding can we expect up there? 5 points is the closest thing to me and my brother and i are thinking about taking a day trip up there and ride daylight to dark. a couple of my friends wanna bring their atv's as well. will be a fri sat or sun have to get this done before august 1st cause i have football practice all day and school starts aug 15th so from aug till december when we play for the state championship i am all booked up. my question is . . .. . not being from there i could probably get lost easy. is there a map availble or something to help plan a ride? thanks it is not set in stone butwe really wanna get out and ride. |

| Huge area, and yes you can get lost. Without a gps, you better be careful and take extra gas. I would suggest you go x amount of miles, then turn around a backtrack if you don't have someone with you that knows the area. I've only been there once, and wouldn't go alone next time. |

| Sorry I've not responded sooner but my PC is down. I did respond once on my phone but can't get it to do it again.
No there is no map. If you wanna go it alone I would suggest you launch from Camp Copperhead. The trails are less abundant in this area but at least the lady there can get you started. If you did launch from here I highly doubt you would make it to 5 Points. It's about 30 miles from Copperhead to 5 Points.
Hope this helps. |
