it was not an issue before the windshield i understand how the air flows up and over, but . . . . . . . . . . . .. . ........................

| I JUST CLIP IT ON THE LOWER LIP OF THE LITTLE PLACE IN THE DASH WHERE YOU CAN STORE STUFF. AND THEN PLUG IT IN THERE ON THE DASH. BY THE WAY THERE IS A GOOD POKER RUN IN CRESTON THIS SAT. | |

| Raise the windshield or get one with vents. It really works wonders. I have an '08 that gets hotter than the 10's and that works just fine. Just carry a little wrench and when you're ready to ride raise it up a bit. For trailering make sure you put it back down against the hood. | |

| Do u have a back windshield? I tried several different variations n found it is cooler in the summer if the back ws is on with the front than front only because of all the engine heat being sucked back from the rear. Been up 19 hours hope I'm still making sense. Just try it. | |

| Ditch the windshield in the summer unless you know it's gonna rain, or you are riding in the dark. | |

| I use 2, 2 inch PVC rubber plugs over the heater vents n have no heat issue. I think having water run thru the heater core keeps the engine a little cooler | |

I have the under dash block off kit. For me it stopped a lot of mud and water from entering the cockpit but never thought about if it affected heat.

For the rzr it is 4 or 5 plastic parts that installs in the front fender wells and blocks off the gaps that allow mud and water to enter the cockpit. Nothing I have read indicates that the kit help heat transfer. Mud- dust- water I can assure you it really helps.

| Wrap the exhaust with header wrap. That's about it, Kawasaki has already upgraded the cooling system so I don't think there's much you can do about that. Remember that we've recently had heat indices of 100-110 degrees so it's going to feel pretty hot. You raise the windshield, you'll notice a huge difference. | |

| ok the vent in the front between the seats lets out a lot of heat
winter good
summer bad
could you close that off and nto effect motor?
also i have not looked to see if there is heat shield material under the plastic around the shifter and the airbox.
i know you can get aluminum stick on heat shield. would that help any?
reason i ask is because the kids touch the center and it "burns" them i know it is not that hot but i do notice its hot to the touch.
