It is alot of fun to drive. I always liked driving a jeep. Most people tell me what a piece of crap they are, I guess we will see. It is just about the cheapest 4x4 you can buy new. No need for the Rubicon package, this is a mall crawler, so we just got the sport model and added some wheels and tires to handle the snow and look better. I have trail tested it, and I guess it does ok for having open diffs. Once you wheel a truck with lockers, one with open diffs is a major let down. Jeep suspension seems to flex well considering it has anti-sway bars all over it. It does ride very well too. Overall, so far we love it.

I have had this for a little over a year. mainly used for daily transportation and for hunting. off road is farm fields for hunting. added a K&N filter charger and a programable superchip. plus without the rear seat, which on every jeep i have ever had, goes to the basement day one it is perfect for my dogs in back, well Sophie likes the passenger seat better. lol.

| I finally got her back. Dana 60 rear end, 3/4 ton front end, 4 wheel disc brakes, 17" 35x12.50 tires. Will need some body work eventually, but it cruises great right now. Plan on working on it during the winter. Sand blast the rear half of frame and paint it up nice and put new shocks on it. Any suggestions for painting the frame? | |

| mrwvsportsman, if you do a rattle can paint job on the frame, go with rustoleum hammered-on from wal-mart. It says black on the can, but it's more like a real dark grey/almost black wrinkle finish. It's real tough and covers like no other spray paint can. I love the stuff. | |
