| The first mod I am going to do to my T4 is buy new tires. I hate to buy new rims, but I want to go with atleast a 27" tire. I'm running 12" stock rims now that look just fine. So what are some advantages/disadvantages of running a 27x12" tire vs 27 or 28x14" tire. I am going 8 ply either way as these 2.0's are junk on a machine this big. | |

| Keep your 12" wheels. I am now an official 14" wheel hater after pinching a sidewall on Andy's Commander. The only way to get by with 14s is to run so much air that they won't go, and ride like a brick. 28" tires on a 14 should be ok, because you are up to the same sidewall height as a 26 on a 12. I run between 8-10 psi in my original bighorns on the rzr depending on who I'm riding with and how fast we are going to ride. In 3000 miles, I have had 0 problems. I rode the Commander with 27" tires and 14s, and made it 5 minutes. If I buy a new machine tomarrow that comes with 14" wheels, I will have new 12s setting at the house for it before I even ride. | |

| Is Andy running the stock 4ply Big Horns?
Yea, first trip out in the Commander I got a pinch on the stock tires running 8psi/10psi in front/rear. The stock Commander tires are notorious for being junk. The tires are now GBC Grim Reapers (8ply radials). I'll find out in July at Bergoo if that works or not. The Grim Reapers seem pretty tough but if it happens again I'll look into something else.

| Thanks Hump. I knew you had mentioned you hated one or the other, I just couldn't remember which and the reasoning behind it. Makes sense. I would love to go 14x28. I think there is a slight rubbing issue without a lift on the T4 going with 28's but not bad at all. But the stock rims are pretty nice. I may wear out another set of tires before replacing the wheels. So will prob go with 27" Growlers or ITP Blackwater Evolutions. | |

| Sportsman I have been running the Interco Reptiles on my RZR and loving them. I can go in some of the mudholes in 2 wd that the others running Bighorns on theirs in 4 wd. I've also been impressed with them on the rocks wet or dry in how they grip so good also. The only thing I've noticed so far is that they run small my 27 measure @ 26 1/4" but they are 8 ply and no problems yet and several of my buds are running them with the same results so maybe you should check them also. Good luck and like been mentioned above stay with the 12 in rims if you ride in WV much or on rocks and you'll be happier! | |

| I run 8/10 psi in my 27" GBC dirt tamers Totally happy with them. I have put several dings in my rims and not even scratch on the sidewalls i thought they were a goner several times
Would love a set of DWT DIABLO BEADLOCKS
IF MONEY wasn't an issue I would try hiper or omf wheels

| Pit bull growlers rock a little heavy but in a league of there own. 2 wheel drive 95 % of the time. Stock rims work fine. | |

| I got roughly 3000 miles on gbc dirt commanders and love them. One nail was my only issue they are 8ply. Only thing with gbc is they tend to run a little small | |

More air and they would be ok, as both flats were due to the sidewall getting pinched between a rock and rim.
