You can get behind both waterfalls

Behind this waterfall is a nice cozy place for a couple to lay. If the water is right you cannot be seen either. Thats what I'm talking about!!

The big rock is called the Indian rock and it's a rush to jump off of!!

My wife is standing in less than knee deep water. There is a perfect round hole about 3' deep under the water.

Arden WV. It's on the Tygart river just a few miles above Tygart Lake. Beautiful place and the pics don't do it justice. The place is so neat, especially the rocks. For instance in the 9th picture down my son is laying on his side in less than knee deep water, however my wife is standing up right behind him. There is a perfect round hole in the rock, under the water that is about 3 feet deep. It was her jacuzzi all day. I will post a vid later of a guy swimming through a tunnel under water.

I went back and edited the pics with some info. Can't wait to go back!! I was kinda torn though cause the SXS and 4 wheelers just kept going by all day. I was told there is alot of riding there. I may have to check that out a bit more. I don't know though cause all those girls in bikinis would be hard to leave.

Is there a campground close by? If so, hook a brother up with some info..

No there are no campgrounds near Arden that I know of and the cops tend to harass people alot. You could stay at Tygart lake but you would have to tow your machine to ride it. I have no idea how much riding there is or what it's like. I have so much fun at the river, it's hard to want to leave it. Not only is the place heaven, but when you get a bunch of drunk girls in bikinis, well it can get interesting.

My Wife above is standing in a hole just like the one pictured below. She didn't wanna leave

One more thing if you like this kind of place you really need to make a Bergoo ride sometime. Very similar terrain, and Bergoo has some beautiful rivers & creeks.

Good deal hope to see you at Bergoo this weekend, just learned that power is back on at Bergoo, not sure about the lodge yet.

As for Arden, Just look on Yahoo maps or Something similar and search for Arden WV. Arden is very small, maybe 15 houses total. No stores either and it sits right on the river. The best area to swim is downstream of Arden from the bridge for about 3 miles. Anywhere you can find a spot to park and swim, have at it. Just be sure to get your vechicle at least 10 feet from the road or you will be ticketed. Also beware not to drink to much cause the cops will be around. several people have died here over the years. Most have been really drunk and had no respect for the current. It can humble you really quick. So the police think if you harass people enough nobody will die. Just like the goverment thinks if we just make enough laws no one will ever die from an accident. The best place for a single man or a couple who doesn't have children is at the party rock. It is the place with the 2 waterfalls. This place is properly named and can get interesting. However f you have kids or don't like foul language you might wanna avoid it. Thats why I went on a weekday, so I could take my son. However it was very mild all day and people were very respectful. I would never take him there on a weekend, some people just have no respect or upbringing. If you need any more info let me know.
