| I spoke with a dealer who drove a new Maverick at the dealer expo. They were on a 5 mile test loop through the woods and he said they handle worse than a Commander. This is coming from the owner of a Can-Am dealership! He also said that 3 of the 5 machines they drove that day over heated before they could complete the test loop. He went on to tell me that the new power steering is crap too. It will shut the system down when you drive it hard! I would hope that Can-Am would address these issue's before the Maverick was available to the general public.
Once again, this is coming from the mouth of a Can-Am dealer...don't hate on me. Just repeating what I was told. | |

| Personally I still like the idea of 100HP. He did tell me that in a straight line it was a damn rocketship! | |

| I'll be buying a maverick when they hit the show room floors. I've had my fair share of Polaris so it's time for something different. The price for the regular maverick is 15,999 and the xrs is 17,499. The xrs is well worth the price because of the fox 2.5 shocks that come it along with bead locks and a nice gauge layout. One of my friends from a reputable shop out of Lexington ky said these things was rockets and handled quite well, no overheating issues with them that day. But the maverick does not have powersteering and has the standard visco lok that many people ain't crazy about. When I get my hands on one ill give a honest non biased review and hopefully make the spring ride. My buddy told me February or march is when I should be expecting mine. | |

| The wheelbase of the Wildcat will keep it on top as far as the ride goes. Nothing that is much shorter is going to beat it in that department. The regular crisco lok may be ok for most trails with the added travel keeping the tires on the ground. I bet they will put QE in them for the next year to get everyone to trade in or buy it and have it installed. One thing is for sure, it will be a ton of fun to drive. | |

Can't wait to give it a shot. I can see the argument on the best handling part of it, but I don't see it as far as best riding. I doubt 14" of suspension travel is going to outride 17-18" of the wildcat. If they manage it, I'll give them their due. I'm not hating on them at all. It's just that if your vehicle is good at one of those qualities, then it would seem to contradict that it's going to be good at the other. Now, if they say it's got the best combination of handling and ride, I think that is a better argument. The 100+ hp would have to be fun, but you better bring your thinking cap with where you should let the horses out.

| rear steer baby..you dont have to be at top speed to use a sxs's horse power...it will lighten the front in the nasty stuff and it will be able to go faster even if it only 10 mph faster you are using the "150 HP" | |

| Yep ,I see it now. When those canned hams hit WV Probably be sitting on the side of the trail like the old mining equipment that they walk away from because its too busted to try to fix. Damn sand toy. Tbone you going to carry your own sand to wv that thing is not going to like soggy bottom............. I would rather have my 4 wheel drive 55hp than a 100hp sand rail in WV No worries though, I just went out to the garage and throwed a extra tow strap in the RzR for them Mavericks | |
