| Left my 800 setting out side over night (13 degrees) and the throttle cable wouldn't move. Couldn't get it loose. Messed up my day. Brought it home and put it in the garage and it thawed out in about three hours. Any solutions for this on the trail? PB blaster didn't work. | |

| I don't know what to say for on the trail. Anytime my cable has given trouble I just replace it. It's not expensive. Hate it happened but over time water gets in them and this happens.
Oh and save the groundhogs buddy. |

| Mine froze up on a trip to the dyno yesterday in Ohio(first time, ever). Freed it up with a heat gun for my tuning run and it froze up again on the way home. Pretty sure my problem was water in the boot on the pedal end. Took the cable loose back to floorboard, pulled the boot off and let it drain. Probably had a teaspoon of water in it. Lubed it with light oil and reinstalled. | |

| Maybe take a small hand held butane torch with you. Lowes carries them for around $20.00. You would be able to thaw iot out on the trail. Mine started binding up...I would lube it and it would work for a little while and then stick again. Better to just replace it. It's not that bad to do and it is cheap to replace. Groundhog....you aint supposed to be riding in 13 degree weather anyway!! That's just too dang cold buddy! DATZ DA TRUFF!! | |
