| Just finished installing the gauge from Dakota Digital. This gauge is literally a plug and play unit and takes less that2 minutes to completely un-install the OEM and install the UTV-1500. It gives more info to the driver like voltage, RPM's and speed simultaneously, oil pressure and water temp (with optional sending units) and the standard odometer, trip settings and clock. This is a great setup and in my opinion the ease of installation and the info it provides makes it 1well worth the money. | |

| MSRP is $449.95.
This may seem like a lot, but if you were price separate high quality guages to do the same things, the price would be fairly close.

| Thanks guys.
I wanted to update the thread to something I noticed last night while installing auxiliary lighting.
It appears that when voltage drops below 11.5 volts (or near there), no matter what mode you are in the gauge reverts to the voltage setting and flashes rapidly as a warning. Of course I had not finished reading the instruction manual yet so I am assuming that the water temp and oil pressure does the same thing. I thought that was a fantastic feature and now am even happier with this gauge system.

| Sorry for the delay in getting back to you guys, I screwed my back up a while ago, slipped 3 disks, lost the use of my right arm and hand for a while.
Anyway, about the Dakota Gauge. This thing is awesome! It gives you all of the information that you need. Oil pressure, water temp, voltage, tach, speed and fuel. It will also flash rapidly it something drops or exceeds a set threshold.
Yes, it will show all the diagnostic codes that the OEM gauge shows.
For anyone interested, here is a review on the gauge.
