My guess would be its the same base engine platform as the 900. If it's like the older generation of Popo engines, they started with the 600, then modified it to the 700, then to the 800. The 900 in the XP RZR is the first iteration (other than the detuned or limited version for the XP Ranger), so I'm guessing they have to room to increase power in this platform. I do know that engine development is extremely expensive so if you can use a base platform, you are miles ahead on the balance sheet. | |

| Well whatever it is I am entered to win one and apparently it is going to cost 25k. I don't know what they could do to make it worth 7k more than a wildcat or maverick but I guess we will see in a couple of weeks. | |

| Yeah the rumor is 19.5k for the price but the contest says prize value up to 25k and when they did a jagged x give away it said prize value up to 22k | |

| Looks like a much better looking copy of a Wildcat. (good thing) With lots more power than anything out there I'm sure. I agree with Tiger Rag, I bet it is based on the 900 engine. I'm sure there is lots more to be had out of it. I think they even said that when it 1st came out. Even if it proved to be ultra reliable, I'm out due to the price. Sure, I can afford it as long as they stretch it out for 72 months. I just couldn't stomach the thought of having $30k + in it total when you factor in mods, repairs, and the total of all those payments over the years. Maybe if I could run across a pile of those Bobby D tokens Tbone speaks of, then I could maybe give one a try, but not for what I have to do every day for that kind of money. | |

| Tbone, I want to go for a ride when you get yours. I would also like to take the Mav out for a spin. Give me your address, I will come down and test it out around the block a time or two. May want to keep it hid for a few weeks til the cops cool off though. | |

| Nice! 1000 cc -- 107hp - not bad! Poalris does know how to keep the excitement coming. Their CEO pushes innovation even if it is not fully tested and bulletproof. It sells so he is doing good.
