| Hey. I am an Army Recruiter in High Point, NC. I am looking for more info about the Hatfield and McCoys trails and also where to stay that would put me close to the Outlaw trails. I just purchased a Can Am Maverick. I am looking forward to learning from all of you that have been there and done that. | |

| Stay at Ashland Resort or Wild Willie's. Both are close to the Hatfield trails & several Outlaw trails. I am sure several more members will have some more info. We have several members from your area. To the site | |

| Yeap, stay at Ashland ATV REsort! There are 3 HM trails you can access from the campground and hundreds of mile of outlaw trails.
If you are staying in a cabin at Ashland, be sure to reserve about a month out, they stay pretty full.

| Hey Brandon, how you like that Maverick? What year and model did you get? Be sure to check out the recall post for it. Maverick is on my short list when I sell my RZR. | |

Thanks for the invite. I will definitely get a hold of you when I can come that way. Would like to get my Maverick set up with a winch before going into unknown territory

I really like the Maverick so far. It is going to be expensive though. I put my first ten hours on it on the Uwharrie Forest trails. It did great, but the "book" states that all the fluids need to be changed after the first ten hours...they do a few other checks and services too, but $450 seems a little high...I guess if you're gonna play, you are gonna pay. Mine is a 2013. I didn't know the 14s were out yet. I just bought mine two weeks ago.

I called couple canam dealers and some of them said not worry about valve adjustment. But i beat you might have a Issue with canam if you have motor issues. Change all fluids yourself and make sure you keep the receipts. If I get one, gonna work a deal out on that first service so it isn't so much. Where did you buy from?

I told my wife yesterday that I wish I had of negotiated the first service when I purchased it. I had no idea it would be so much. Guess that is the great thing about hindsight.

Sounds great. Do you have any idea when you will be heading that way again? What area are you at in High Point? I am close to Shady Brook elementary and work there by Carter Bros on Parris Ave. Let me know what you decide on the radio. That is one thing that I want pretty soon.
