Just got off the phone with the east coast dealer rep for arctic cat and they are coming to ashland with 8 new 50 inch machines for demo rides and the new X with the stage five elkas, they should have a few of those there as well! it will be the weekend of jan. 4th and 5th at ashland, there will also be vendors and other dealers there as well, this machine will ship to the east coast first this time instead of everything going west! It will be a great time to try out this new machine! hope to see ya there!

Sry, but after a 64"+ wide machine, I would feel like that this in a 50" and the guy on Laugh-in on the tricycle..

I rode in a 570 before I went and got my WC and I am no sure that thing had any shocks at all! I still want to drive the WC 50 to see how it feels. I understand a few inches can make a big difference!

that's been my only complaint about my 570, they cheaped out on the shocks. I may have to bite the bullet and drop some big coin on some fox or elkas

Timmi, I have read over on the RZR forum where some of the guys have gone with Walker Evans shocks and they say night and day difference.

Yea I forgot about Walker Evans. I hate to drop that kinda money on shocks, but I like the 570 other than the ride.

I've never ridden in a 570. I rode a 07 Ranger several thousand miles before I got the RZR. I bet the 570 rides like a Cadillac compared to that Ranger but that's what I had to ride so I got used to it.

the 570 rides as good as any 50" utv, BUT (for Ross) the shocks are widely known to suck through a straw. for trail riding on outlaws and local trails, it's a great machine, plenty of power and as easy to work on as an atv.

I was strongly leaning toward a 570 because of the power and being easy to work on but with the WC because of the ride alone. I have a buddy that is in the market and he is leaning toward a 570 but I think he will be heading this way for the demo at Ashland to see what the 50 WC is all about. Good luck with your shock dilemma.

Oh yea I will be heading up to look at them too. Rzr has the lock on the 50" market so I want to see what the first challenger for them has to offer. The XT model for the price and what it offers looks like a winner.

Are you thinking about changing machines instead of changing shocks?

maybe! twin cylinder, fox shox, ebs, locking diff., aluminum rims for 12k seems like a good deal
