Thanksgiving weekend ride

Wacker, Ruger,Sparky, and myself are staying at Skyland atv retreat that weekend.
We will be riding from early afternoon Thursday, then all day Friday and Saturday.
We will probably join Lee and the gang from ATVWV as they are staying at Mtntop cabins.
Mostly atv's on this ride and I will be driving my rzr.
I hope some of you can make it. Let us know if anyone is riding.
We did this same ride last year and had a blast.

I usually go up for 1 day somewhere around Thanksgiving. Hopefully we can get together & do some riding

I'll be up that weekend either riding or stuffing my face with Turkey and beer lol...

i will be working and hunting on my days off. so don't think will be riding much in nov

Which dates will everyone be there? We will be up riding on the 21 through the 23, hope some of you can make it. May need some help this will be our first trip up to WV

One foreman, three grizzly 700's, one rhino, and one other rzr besides mine. We hope to be there around noon on Thursday turkey day.

Plan on coming in on the 25th with another couple and their 2 boys. We will be there through Sunday. Trying to get them to join the club. They are bringing a RZR and his new 2010 Ranger. We're gonna break that Ranger in. LOL...LOL

Not sure on my dates being there --- We may only be there for 1 day ride. We will have to see as time gets closer.

Slopoke, bro, that is the first week of West Virginia buck season! It would be dang near illegal to NOT HUNT those days. Unless that is if Mr. Big is already dead. Ya'll have a great & safe time. I don't understand it but I do know that not everyone hunts deer.

I know the feeling and been bowhunting the previous two weekends myself.
Ohio gun season is the week after Thanksgiving.
Maybe we can stir them deer up for you hunters while we're out there.

Slopoke, I've a buddy, (Uncle of my Bro in Law) that has run a gunsmith business in Centerburg for a lot of years. Ken Eyster at Heritage Gunsmiths. Ken is very old and in failing health and I think his son are carrying on. You know of them? In his day Ken was on of the 10 best gunsmith's in the country.

I should arrive at Mountain Top Wednesday afternoon 11/25. Cabin 7 - Stop by and say hi. I'm looking forward to this ride!!! I'll plan to wave at all SxS's. Is there any kind of special wave yous guys use?????

Sort of strange I run into you here on the board and start talking about Ken Eyster. He just died about 2 hours ago! God rest his Soul. He will be missed.

We will not make it for Thanksgiving weekend, due to illness in our family. If you see our friends there,(Eric,Martha,Sullivan,& Spencer), they have a new 2010 Ranger and a red RZR, please show them the trails. They have gone to Ashland many times but have not had the pleasure of riding with you WVSXS riders. GET THEM TO JOIN! They will have a motor home and will be in site 94. Shawn if you see them introduce yourself, we've told them a lot about you and the other GOOD PEOPLE IN THE CLUB!
Hopefully see ya'll on the SPRING RIDE!

I hope to go either Friday or Saturday. If I see them, I will for sure introduce myself.

We have seven still going riding on 2 rzr's, 2 rhino's, 3 atv's plus some folks from other sites that we will hook up with sometime during the ride.
A few are riding Wednesday afternoon and the rest Thursday, Friday, Saturday riding.
We are staying at Skyland, the other group is at Mtn Top Cabins.

Hope to see some others from here on the trails.
