| Just received the new Car and Driver and it has the Rzr 1000 and Teryx 4 in it. The Rzr 1000 does 0 to 60 in 8.1 seconds. Wow almost as fast as a Ford Focus SE (7.5 sec).
Interesting just cuz I never saw a 0 to 60 number on it before. The Teryx goes to 30 mph in 1/2 second slower than the Rzr 1000. Not too bad.

| It all makes sense to me know. I was wondering why they didn't seem like they were all that fast on the trails for the claimed HP. Sounds like they really come alive on the top end. It almost seems like that's where these sport models are headed. With over 100 HP, I think they should offer some sort of trail model with lower gearing so it accelerates the hardest between 10-45 mph.
I'm sure they way they are now makes them the badest thing there is out west.

I'm sure they way they are now makes them the badest thing there is out west. That's exactly why I'm getting sport low mod for my maverick. Gives you 100% of your power in low instead of 70% stock. Easy plug and play mod and can be reversed back to stock if need be.

| But Jimbob, there would be no more of the epic fail videos of them coming apart , exploding, or rolling like a beach ball down the hill a Teryx just went up. Come on, you know you like watching those videos! | |

| Some of you guys are full of and make my head hurt. The Terxy is a fine machine but there is not one hill out there that a Terxy will climb that a RZR won't!!!!!! Yes I remember just how much of chicken shit all you Kawi boys were at 5 Points when us RZR riders were climbing. Some of this my machine is great, yours is a piece of shit gets a little old. | |

| They all will climb whatever you have the nerves for. I used to think my Rhino 660 would eventually run out of steam and stop. Them boys from Kentucky came to WV and I watched the craziest stuff I've seen being done on Rhino's. They went down the steepest part of "The View" (steepest part is closed now and has boulders at bottom) and turned around half way down to show me it could be done. They backed up it also. They then went to the curve going to Welch that you can see The View from that has the shortcut downhill. The shortcut is now closed but this was when it was dang near impossible to ride and they backed up it also.
After that I don't question any SxS. It's the driver not machine. I love hills but those boys from Ky made me look like a chicken.
If you know anything about Rhino's you know the old 660's had a weak reverse. That made what they did 100x crazier...

| Thunter, no offense meant. Epic fails feature mainly razors and mainly young kids. Age and testosterone levels have much more to do with it than the machine. More Old Folks like me like the Teryx and seem to have settled a lot......possibly because we do not heal as fast. | |

| I will admit I do feel more invincible in my Rzr. If just the parts were cheaper when I am too rough on it... | |
