I have not contacted any dealers yet but I have seen the Blue one advertised for $9,999.00 but that did not include delivery & set up and Doc fee.I'm guessing one can be bought for $11,000.00 or maybe a little less if push comes to shove.I got to sell the Wildcat first well I don't have to but I'm not buying anything until it sells.I really hate to get rid of the Wildcat since it has everything on it but it's out of warranty from a mistake made. (long story) anyways I thought it was under warranty until May 9th 2014 and I had planned on getting a extended warranty but I can't now and would rather have something with a good warranty.I know the Teryx is not going to be what I'm use to.I'm not going to like sitting up high which will be the biggest thing I have a problem with but all of the other things out weigh that.I think the Teryx is much better built than anything I have had in the past and I just want to have something dependable to ride without problems if there is such a thing which I know is not true.

| The only thing I knew I would miss about my rzr s was that low center of gravity. I was concerned about the cornering of the rhino. James said "you just have to figure it out and learn to trust it".
You will miss the smooth ride and low seat height, but that kawi is solid as they come when it comes to reliability. I wouldn't judge it by it's top speed either. I have yet to feel power like I felt in my 650 Prairie. Those v twins are torque mosters, and that's where it's at on the trails.
I would say you need a hot rod rhino, but with that kind of torque, warranty, and price, you would be crazy not to go with the Teryx.

| I will say though those are nice machines. I think right now Kawasaki and AC are innovating to grow for the right customers. Everyone else is not exactly innovating for all types of customers. |

| So I was curious and called my guys at Valley Kawasaki in Harrisonburg VA (I've done business there for a long time and one of the guys rents some land from me - they've always done right by me and I trust them). They have a 2014 Teryx Blue (KRF 800 BEF to get all technical) that they will sell for $10,600, which from what I was told is a whopping $26 over their actual cost. Per Mapquest, Harrisonburg is about an hour and 45 minute drive up 1-81 from Salem, VA, by the way. If ya care, Bobby, (or anyone else) call Tim at 540-433-0232 or PM me. | |

| You will enjoy the Teryx just as much as the wildcat or rzr. It's all fun when you are going the right place.
I rode a Rzr 800 and Honda Rancher in Utah and loved them both...

| Bobby the best thing i like about the teryx is the way the seats are and it does not feel top heavy i like my wildcat but i don,t like the way the seat is i think the t-4 spoiled me and the 2014 should ride like a dream | |

| Welcome to "DEEP SXS Thoughts", with your host, GGM:
I went through the whole sports car phase and then eventually realized that I have no need, or even the opportunity, to drive at 180 MPH. Now my daily driver is a Jeep Grand Cherokee - it's practical, goes most anywhere I want, doesn't cost an arm and a leg to service, and I'm quite happy with it.
I think it's possible that many people will go through the same process with side-by-sides. I lusted for, and eventually got, an XP-900 when that was the fastest thing out there. I still dig it, but the fastest I've ever been it is 65 MPH in a flat field - and even then I was at 65 for less than 10 seconds. Then there was the wildcat and now the 1000cc XP as well. All very cool, but when you're on the trails or hauling a load of firewood, what do you really need?
I think my next SXS will probably be another Teryx. My 2009 model is still running strong and other than a design flaw (a radiator that was too small and placed too low) I've had no complaints and it has required very little in the way of maintenance / parts replacements. Other than the radiator issue, the only issues I've had with it are ones that I essentially created myself by trying to upgrade it (with LED lights, etc.) to what I thought it "should" be. Now that Kawasaki has finally made a Teryx 2-seater that has fixed the previous design flaws and has all the other stuff it "should" have, I think my next SXS will be a new Teryx. Don't need a spots car - just something well built, practical, dependable, low maintenance (as SXS's go), with all the modern conveniences.

| Maybe some of you current Kawasaki owners who have owned the older Terxy can answer this, has Kawasaki changed the gas pedal design? I was in an older Teryx before and it was terrible. I would have had cramps in my calf for a week if I had took one for a long ride. | |

| Funny, cause I would get craps in my RZR but havent yet on the T4, although only have 600 miles on it. But yes, the gas pedal angle is terrible on the T4 and guessing the T2 is the same. I velcro a 2x4 on the floorboard and rest my heel on it. This helps a lot! | |

| My Rhino had the same issue with the gas pedal angle. Very simple solution. On the Rhino I anchored 1.5" of horse stall mat to the floor under my foot. That raised my foot where the angle was not an issue. Before that I would ride 20 min and have an ankle that hurt. I rode 2000 miles like that before I sold it. | |

| I agree on a Teryx I rode back in 08 I hated the gad pedal position.I wonder if the 2014's are different it sure looks like they changed them a lot from what I have read. They are suppose to have more leg & shoulder room as an improvement if I read it right. | |

| i have 2012 teryx sport 2 seater gas pedal seems ok for me really like the way it rides and handles ive rode in a wildcat just dont think ya gonna beat the way they ride and handle with that trophy truck suspension especially at any kind of speed like 35mph or more my machine does pretty good it seems solid the 2014 teryx has longer wheel base and wider track i bet it does really good | |

| Excellent choice! First mod should be to snorkel the cvt intake to allow better air flow. The 14's are shredding belts like crazy and Kawi hasn't quite stepped up yet. Check out the threads on the Teryx forum. Lots of good info out there. And vfj is already on top of things too. You won't be disappointed! | |

I have already read about them on the Teryx Forum but it sounds like they have a different belt for them now.
