| If you like mud, Busco Beach is about a hour and a half (no permits just entrance fee). If you want hills and rocks, Uwharrie is about three hours driving time (it was 5.00 a day). If you are looking for good riding from Wilmington .... head for WV!!!!! | |

| DO NOT GO TO UWHARRIE, it is BS. I live 30 minutes from there, never take a SXS, waste of time. If you have a Jeep that you don't like, it's good for that. It's a rock farm, not a orv area. WV RULES, trust me. |

| Brown Mtn. ORV area outside of Lenoir (5 hr.) & it only has 34 miles of trails. And the ranger can be a pain. Ride Safe BIG HOSS |

| I'm guessing you're headed to Wilmington to visit? There is a more place but I have never been there. I know there was a petition going around trying to keep from shutting down so I would call first. Appears to still be open. Bigwoods | |

| Heard it was one big mudhole, if that's your kind of ride. Never been there myself. Heard it was near Myrtle Beach,SC and not a very big area. | |
