| I went out on a ride this past Saturday and got a flat 40 miles from the truck. Because I had ridden on the flat a little too long there was no way it was going to hold air in my lifetime. Anyway, during the attempted repair process I was having a time getting my Slime plug tool to release the plug after I ran it into the hole. An unknown ATVer who was out riding offered me his Safety Seal Tire Plug Tool. This plugging tool has a collar on it that slid down and held the plug in place so you could easily pull out the tool and not the plug. The was a must have tool for anyone that may need to plug a tire. I went on Amazon last night and picked up a full kit for less than $20. Here is the link if anyone is interested!

| I just cut one side off the plug tool. I then hold the plug folded and let go once in the tire. Works easy. I've installed 50+ plugs over the last 8 yrs and this works great. | |

| I'm with Randy, just cut one side of the plug tool off so you still have a little "U". This way you only pull one side of the plug tool out and there is nothing to pull the plug back out. | |

| Randy that sounds like a great solution. I know my plug tool would not let go of the plugs. I have the one I mentioned already ordered and I am OK with that. This does give people another option. |

| About to order one of these... also wanting to pack a 12V compressor. Anyone have any recommendations? Looking at this one, but it says the 12V power cable is only 14" long!

| I use a Slime compressor (not that one) and it's held up great. I would think a 14' cord is plenty long enough! |

| Maybe it's a typo Ross but it looks to me like 14" (inches) / 35cm on that one. There's another Slime pump that's not as compact but has a 16' power cord. It calls for a 15 amp fuse though & not sure what the Rzr has without looking. I'm thinking 10? http://www.amazon.com/Slime-70004-Power-Spair-Repair/dp/B000YMP1SA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top | |

OIC, my mistake! It looks the like alligator clip accessory plug to connect to a battery is 14" long but the main power supply cord is 8' long. I think I would go with a little heavier unit. |

| I found a great little pump at Harbor Freight for 29 bucks that will pum9 up a truck tire. Hose screws on valve stem and snaps on compressor which I really like. Has canvas bag with accessories and long power cord. | |

| Thanks keeter, I haven't bought a pump yet, so I'll keep an eye out for that one. Was going to check at Tractor Supply and other places like that. My next ride where I might need it isn't until the end of the month, so I have a little time for research. | |
