| I probably will never achieve quite that much lift. Thanks for sending the pictures Timmi. This thread has been all over the map and I thank you all for the patience. At times the things we think want are not what we end up with for practical reasons. The original question was about the same size tires on all 4 corners and the lift was mentioned. With all the great comments and suggestions I feel I have a much better understanding of what I really want. After talking to others on the phone and taking measurements I find that the rear is actually high enough. It is the front that is too low. Probably weak factory springs. I will work on the front first and then if needed, the rear. BUT, If I can get it setting level, that will give me another good starting point if needed. Thanks again for all the good information. As a matter of fact, that is the way I welcome new members, saying "Welcome to the forum, enjoy the information", I guess I am using my on advice...MD | |

| Mike, if you are thinking of replacing the springs, go ahead and get a better shock, the sachs shocks are never going to ride well. There are a number of brands available for the 50" rzr. | |

| Mike if you just want to try high lifter springs take mine. I have spare set for front and rears on stock shocks with high lifters also to try and see if that will help any. | |

| Thanks Keeter and Timmi, I'm leaving hear in Spoonville in the morning for Poverty Hollar. I do believe with what I will be bringing back from Keeter, it will have to make a difference. It was suggested yesterday to remove my front factory shocks and install a set of stock RZR 800 rear RZR shocks as the replacement and I will see a vast improvement in lift. Keeters has the factory rear shocks, but with the highlifter springs, so that should be an even better improvement. Then I order the wheel spacers from JSB James and hope to be able to order one size larger tires. My only concern right this moment is, will the rear RZR 800 shocks physically bolt right up to the front...MD | |

| Timmi, my rear shocks are 18 something and the front shocks are 16 something and if I remember correctly, the rear is a little stouter. When you say they are the same, I hope you are talking mounting holes...MD | |

| I am yes. I don't know about spring rate. Also, be aware that any non adjustable shock that adds lift will also make the suspension stiffer. | |

| Rears will not work on the front. Replacing stock springs is a good(but not totally effective) first choice to restore ride height and improve ride. If you're buying new springs go with 200# fronts and 275# rears. I think the LT 450 is 225# and my YZ 125 were 259#. Close enough. Tried the Suzuki shocks on the rear and was not satisfied. | |

| I agree with you Steve. springs aren't enough to make a ride difference. thanks for the specs on the shocks I got from you. | |

| Finzup and Timmi, thanks for the continued information. I made it back home from Poverty Hollar around 5:30pm. I got there just in time to watch Big G and Randy finishing up on his T2. Then we had a short sit around and talk session and I headed back home. I brought back two rear shocks with heavy springs and front springs by themselves. Next week I will be doing some combinations with the above. If I see an improvement in the height, that will be a success and if not, back to the drawing board. As you remember, I actually never did question the ride, the machine actually rides OK with me. I want about 2 inches of height on the front to level the RZR a little more. That is the goal at this time. I really appreciate all the information and I am learning as I go...MD | |

| Timmi, I really don't know. I guess it would have to. I didn't want a hard mounted 2" lift, with the springs the lift will vary at all times. As stated earlier, with the additional inch or so with the taller tires and the offset with the spacers or after market wheels, that should spread it back out and hopefully be where I wanted to be all along. Our buddy from TN that just bought his RZR won't be using his 1.5 spacers and is going to send them my way for a bag of apples and a hotdog...MD | |

| Well, it took me a few weeks of studying, but finally got the lift I was wanting without using the hard mount lift kit. High-lifter Springs from Keeter on my factory shocks and 27" Swamplites on ITP SS212B off-set rims has give me a full 3 inches with the rear at 13.25 and the front at 12.25 with the shocks at the bottom setting. Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas, they were all helpful in making it happen...MD | |

| That thing looks great. I like the stance and the black wheels go good with the body colors. Look at that, then go back and look at the pics without the right stuff. It's almost funny. | |

| For the kind words. Now I need to ride it on the trail to see if the riding dynamics have changes much. I hope to be able to ride it Locally somewhere this weekend. If not I will be going to The CAW Swapmeet next Saturday the 20th. If anyone has some extra accessories, parts, or anything ATV related and close enough to Adventure World next Saturday, come on down, we might just sell some of the extra stuff we have. Timmi has a flyer page he got from somewhere, maybe he will post it here or a new post for those that has some stuff to part with...MD | |
