Been there, done that. Get over it!  Next thing you should do is get bad ass tie rods.  Then, you'll break the steering box.  Next thing you do is get an indestructible steering box. | There has to be a weak link some where, other than the driver. I prefer to have the easiest part to replace and the least costly. I would think that is the tie rod. | |
