| We shall see. I sure like the looks of the cab. A little heat and I bet you could ride all winter in a t shirt | |

| I rode a few years with Mark and Charlie Smith on their Christmas ride and a fella had a Ranger with a full cab and heat. He rode in a jacket with no gloves when it was 14f. I was on my Grizzly freezing. | |

| Having ridden in a teryx they ride a little rough for me. I like a smooth ride a little too much so I will be sticking with the sport ones.
As far as where to buy. I have bought my last two machines from ridersville and performance east. Both will give the same deal. Ridersville will give a better deal with no negotiation but they will bot easily get to the same bottom line. Also check at least for price Abernathy's in TN if you want polaris. Also check romney cycle, and tri county honda (sells other than honda too).

I did check them and they were pretty good. I have been doing most of my shopping by email, just because its easier but almost non of them are responding back to my emails that I did using their site. The one T-bone told me to try responded very quick. I hear ya on the sport models....Thats my fear of going to the ranger, after my custom jagged that was revalved etc. It rode like a Cadillac. My thought is this thing we be 90% for going to the pool and back, and playing in the snow. If I find I do get to the trails again, I'll definitely do a rzr for trails and this for the Hood. Hope to get something nailed down by Monday.

| Check out http://www.aquatic-center.com/ in Deep Creek for the Teryx. Had a few friends buy from them and they were about a grand cheaper than even Ridersville. Great service as well. | |

Will do So dumb question, but it sounds like alot of folks like the ride of the ranger over the teryx4, but with the teryx having fox shocks, I guess that surprises me a bit. The cab system of the ranger seems head of the pack though.

I can't explain it either but the teryx is choppy riding. maybe it's because you sit over the wheels or real close to them or maybe the shocks need better tuning. the engine/driveline noise is loud too

Just my 2 cents, but I've ridden with a couple that had to load weight onto the bed to get rear traction and a decent ride.

| Before you buy, call Harold at Ridersville Cycle in Berkley Springs. His prices are always better than anywhere else on the Teryx. Hard to beat. They ride just fine. Esp if you are going to be alone on the trails, you will want something you can play with. You can soften them up a good bit. | |

I spoke to Harold just a minute ago. They are pretty good prices. I still am leaning toward the cab of the ranger unless you know of a really good cab for the Teryx

| There are a few options on cabs but your best bet for a cab is probably going to be the ranger because of the box design it is going to be easier to seal. Search the teryx forums for cabs possibly. Good luck with whatever you choose!! | |

| Harold is who I buy from. It's a four hour trip to his place but he saves me thousands. I like the Ranger curved windshield and glass rear window. Those are unique and very practical. No scratched plastic. | |
