I have only been there once before and have no idea how to navigate my way around there. I can find the Ashland resort and that is about it. Will there be a group meeting there to go?

I will be staying @ Ashland c/g too. There'll likely be more of the group there also. Several live close enough that they drive up & park @ Ashland c/g.I'll let you know whether I'll be in my camper or a cabin. We'll get together there & ride over to Bubba's place @ Pinnacle Creek c/g if you like.

I will be driving there the day that I ride too. I live about 1 1/2 hours from there. I have only ridden there once because I have access to all of the riding I can do just out my back door. The problem is that I dont have anyone to ride with, so I want to drive down there and ride with you guys some more.
I will meet you guys at the Ashland resort, what time will you be departing there each day?

loganhousekennels, the biggest group will most likely be sat. we normally ride the trails between 15 and 20 miles per hour and like to stop at least every hour.

There is a chance I may ride New years day if my buddy Ken goes but I don't know if he wants to ride in a real big group since he has not gotten to ride in a long time.He likes to ride at a pretty good pace and likes to get in alot of miles

hey you all, the weather does not look that good for next week, but I am thinking about paying 5.00 a day to park at the ashland resort and ride down to my camper, so far there might be 2 of us.(I was told that the road to my campground was icey)

is there anybody else planning on being at the new years weekend ride.

I have been planning this ride for a while, and I don't plan on letting nobody down, If anybody else is gonna be there, then I will be there.

I want to ride with ya New Years day but by midweek if the forecast for Fri/Sat is really bad ( teens & icy )then I'll probally go earlier Wed/Thur. I know there's a few diehards that'll probally ride regardless. But I for 1 want to ride & have a good time & I find that hard to do in extreme weather.

I'm headed up Wednesday morning early AM if any of you want to ride. My buds will be up late Wednesday night. Thursday my group will consist of 2 RZR's, 1 Rhino and a couple 4 wheelers. Also ridingi Friday and Sat...

where are you staying

My buds camper on Micajha Ridge. Basically if you know where Misty and Allen live, it's across the street. Rays brother Junior Reed lives next door to Misty and Allen.

Yea, I come in on HWY 10. I either headup the mountain just past Matocha or head up 10 and take a left on Clarks Gap Rd..

the 10 day forcast on weather.com looks like Wednesday will be the best day. high of 40 degrees with only 10% chance of precipitation. Thurday will be a high of 42 with 40% chance of rain. After that it gets cold and snowy again.

I'll be there reguardless Wed. through Sunday morning.

well as much as I hate to say it, I'm not gonna make it to the new years weekend ride, to much bad weather for my bunch. I'm gonna start looking at the weather for the next best weekend to go. Razor

I dont want to go down if there wont be anyone to ride with. If anyone is going for 100% sure can you please let me know, and also where to meet up with you.

I think the storm is stalling out a little... If you have some chains, you will never have a issue.

This was me last year after 2 days of being stranded. On day 3, I got a full set of schoolbus chains! Pulled my 8K up the mouintain one lane roads.

I think I am the only one riding tomorrow. The rest of my group is in late tomorrow night.

Yea it's looking like tomorrow will the best maybe only decent day left this week.Mark it'll still be late this evening before I'll have a definite about possibly being there early in the morning. I'd like to hook up with you if I do. Do you have cell service where you'll be . If so would you PM me the # so I can get up with you & your gang. Or maybe set a time/place to meet. When's the latest you'll be on here today ?
