| This year I am going to ride more HM trails and want to get a new helmet. I have an old bmx helmet I have been wearing but want something full faced. Some of the full faced ones I see look goofy. I am used to my racing full faced simpson helmets but that would be overkill here plus it wouldn't breathe well. I may just go back to a bmx helmet and goggles but don't want to if I can help it. What is a good option for wearing a helmet these days? Figured the forum here would be a good place to ask.
Thanks in advance guys. |

| I use a half helmet during the hot summer month, but use a full face helmet during the winter. I am looking to get another full face helmet with the chin riser. Please forgive me if I am not calling it the correct name. As for name brand helmet, there are many to choose from. Just make sure it is DOT approved. | |

| Unless you always ride by yourself or are always in front I would say a forced air helmet is the way to go. | |

| I will echo Ray, the dual sports helmets are what I see a lot lately. Good side to side (can't spell perrifical) and not claustrophobic looking...MD | |

| In the heat I wear a skateboard helmet and a wolfsnout if dusty. It has removeable and washable pads in it. After one summer without washing, it started smelling like butthole. Tossed the pads in the washer and butthole is gone now. | |

| Modular Full face for me. That way I can flip the mouthpiece up so I can drink my drink or talk on the radio when riding.
I buy one's around $60 and they last for many years. I'm still using a 2007 one on muddy days.
Here's a Fulmer that will match your rzr: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FULMER-AF-M2-STREAM-BLUE-MODULAR-HELMET-WITH-DROP-DOWN-SHIELD-/141578038198?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&var=440719757263&hash=item20f6b56bb6&vxp=mtr
or heck here's a fast one. It's got wings!

| This thread has almost got me ready to up-grade my helmet also. This is the one that has captured my interest. It is on EBAY.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Snowmobile-ATV-UTV-4X4-Matte-White-Modular-Flip-Up-Helmet-Dual-Smoke-Visor-XL-/281618675422?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&hash=item4191c7f6de&vxp=mtr Just have to decide on the color now, whether white or black. Leaning toward the white...MD | |

| That's a nice helmet. I have a white one I purchased for riding my street bike due to idiots not seeing me on a black bike with black helmet. I also hated the 90F days where the black helmet felt 200F.
With that said I still love my black helmets. I feel weird with the white one on for some reason... I think it needs some bad azz sticker on it. | |

| You might check out those Axel Offroad helmets. Kind of like a bicycle helmet but more heavy duty. | |

| I use a skateboard helmet in the summer. The back of it holds the goggle strap nicely. | |
