WHAT WOULD A OLD MAN NEED AS FAR AS A GPS WITH A LARGE((( ANDROID))  what brand is most using do not want to wast money just to use in the mountains,let me know

I use a Pantec Element 4100 tablet with the MyTrails app, I love it.  Some use Back County navigator,  others have there own that they like, it all comes down to choice.  But the pantec is waterproof and dust proof, I think it has an 8 inch screen and it mounts right behind steering wheel. I think there are pic's on here somewhere of how I mounted it.

BobT is the GPS guru, I sure he will chime in when he sees this.

I use motion x on my IPhone. I record just about everywhere I go. Works great. I would get bob,s maps for my garmin, but don't have a PC to do it.
